  1. PM'd you Scott, these seem to good to pass up
  2. I work in Dorset, hometown is Stourbridge in the W.Mids, I'd rather get it done in that neck of the woods!
  3. I don't need it just yet, but am planning ahead! Are there any recommended garages or anyone to avoid in the Midlands, or better the West Midlands? Doesn't seem to be much talk of Zedwise garages around there. Thanks
  4. It details the tyre pressures on the drivers door pillar, it does on mine at least! I have the Rays too, 35psi both front and rear...
  5. I tried...I thought for 5 minutes...but I can't. For me there is no single feature, its just everything. I've had my Zed for a week now, can you tell? lol
  6. Hi there everyone @ Abbey, I'm interested in option 1 above, including the MD 350Z ShockWave TDX2 exhaust. Could you PM me a quote please
  7. Do these adapters allow streaming of music to the head unit? or am I hoping for too much!
  8. Could have been a lot worse! Good luck getting back on the road soon
  9. Yep, the standard key really is boring! I might be interested in this also, more-so the flip key idea. Any news? -its been a while...
  10. Recently paid 11.5k for my '04 GT with 37k on the clock. Out of all the cars I viewed it was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive, but it was in the best condition. Asking price was 12.5k...
  11. Congratz G! I just got my Zed recently too, its also an '04 but in Gun Metal, they really are amazing! All the best with yours
  12. I've got my eyes on a couple of events. Work can be a bit of hassle however, sometimes they drop us on working weekends without notice!
  13. Thanks folks I've not got the holding fee back on the Stillen, but I still have my bank cover to fall back on. Its been at the back of my mind this weekend tbh, I'm not going to let it sour my new experience with my 350. I reccon I got away lightly, that Stillen would have cost me a world of hurt. Its great to be a member of the club and with a quality piece of machinery. And thanks goes to those who offered their advice on the Stillen thread, this one definitely turned out for the best I'm off out for a drive, exactly where I don't care!
  14. Hello Zedders. I am now the proud owner of a gun metal grey '04 GT After my short fling with the Stillen SC, I'm glad I walked away from it, as this new 350 is so much better in every way... Its pretty much standard but has a few nice features: stubby arial, parking sensors and Alezan leather. Whats more, it drives sooo much better then the Stillen which had 19" alloys, I think the bigger wheels while looked good, made it feel heavy to drive. It has a whole better feeling about the car than the Stillen. Inside its immaculate, looks and smells almost new. Outside the only blemishes are the usual stone marks on the front bumper for a car of this age, and a couple of minor ships on the bonnet where a stones bounced. Shame, but doesn't detract from the car at all; its clearly been loved and well looked after. FSH checked out, its an original UK but has been re-badged with the smarter looking Z emblems. As cheesy as it is, really felt like the car chose me! I consider myself quite lucky, as I was looking far and wide for the grey/Alezan leather with Rays alloys combination, they are much fewer then grey/black, and this one turned up in my own backyard -b-ham. Its got 37500 miles on the clock, asking price was 12,500, I happily got away with 11500 which I think is very reasonable after much haggling. Saved myself enough for a MD plenum and zorst tune-up. Got on great with the seller which helps, told 'em I wasn't leaving without it. (automotivedreams.co.uk -they have a Silver '04 350z, 23k, looks very nice too). Driven it down to Dorset where I work, just can't believe how quick and comfortable it is. Very happy in deed
  15. I'm interested in this MD exhaust too, I also want the XYZ, Decat and reflash done with Abbey In fact we're in the same boat as I also do a fair share of M/way miles, so don't want anything too droney for daily driving. Ceaser let me know how you get on would ya please, I'll do same if I find anywhere stocking these in the UK, or any useful info. Also, heres a good youtube of the zorst in action, you may very well have already seen it, but its a good'un:
  16. Whilst digging on the internet, I found this plate, its a tad expensive for me and not quite my style, but I thought someone might be interested so I'd throw it out there... Reg: TOY 350 Here: http://www.speedyreg.co.uk/results?show ... 0&x=0&y=0& Yup, its 4180 quid(dang, the pound sign is malfunctioning!)!
  17. Yea, I will do mate. Kicking myself for not loading it onto my cedit card, but thinking my debit might be covered also. If it is and they give me trouble, it'll get sorted
  18. Its been a day of ups and downs! I've decided to walk away from the questionable Stillen, I don't want to poor money into it should it go pop again. Lesson learnt on this one, I put down 250 on that stillen I doubt I'll get back. I considered it a done deal, they took it off sale, I was ready prepared to go pick it up next week. Today I've seen and test drove a nice example of similar age car I'd be happy with, cheaper too. Not rushing into it this time though. As others above have suggested, I can enjoy customising in the future...I'm already browsing nismo kit! Thanks for the advice folks! Its been emotional
  19. I should have added more detail, yes, it was breakdown recovery...its the engine rebuild and new transmission that concerns me. The cars had two owners, the previous hardly drove it, litterally 3k miles in a couple of years, with no sevice history. It was the first owner that did all the work. I've got the origional owners number, I'm going to call them, but unsure how much confidence thay will be able to give me. Theres so many of these cars available, none quite like this, but theres an aweful lot that could and has gone wrong with this one already...looking for another, none sc, seems the safest bet.
  20. Will the newer '06 onwards bonnet fit an older '04 model? Thanks for the help!
  21. Oh dear... Been to view the car again today to see how the small repairs are looking. Working through the history with a comb, discovered the following. Also noted that there are no service documents for the last 3 years, which hardly constitutes the claimed full service history. My own fault really, I checked the milages and noted work had been done, but not exactly what. Born 2004(04 plate) 10k miles - Stillen Supercharger fitted by Nissan 20k miles - car recovered, 'Engine Rebuild' £3500 25k miles - new clutch 30k miles - loss of 3rd gear, new transmission! £2300 So, given that no car should require an engine rebuild and new transmission in less then 30k miles, I think this one might be more trouble then its worth Anyone any advice please? Seems like I need to walk away and look for another...
  22. Thanks for that tmJak! I've been looking for more pictures of that hood, now I've seen it, I'm well happy, its exactly what I wanted!
  23. Its not the best hood I have to agree, but the hood I've found in the OP looks the business! That is indeed the one! They're tidying up a few areas, I should pick it up in abut a week Thanks once again for the help, advice and notes of welcome
