Had the Zed just over a week now and all seems well, other than the rear suspension (at least that's what i think it is). As we turn the car around right hand bends at any speed, there is a very loud creaking coming from the rear wheels, this noise also occurs when we put the car on the driveway. Has anyone experienced anything similar? How is it cured? Thanks Michael.

I did did the reset procedure on Thursday mate and it really is easy, all I would say is the bolt behing the interior door handle is easier to take out using a multi screwdriver with an extension and a 10mm socket rather than a screwdriver, less chance of dropping it into the door. Consequently. The reset procedure didn't do anything for me, unless I did it wrong as the guide is obviously a direct translation from another language into English and some of it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. Right before you send me away to use the search function, i already have and not found the answer i was looking for. This morning after giving the car a quick was i thought i would try my ipod touch with the bose as we are about to do a 200 mile round trip in the zed. I put the cassette adaptor in the deck, and it showed 'side 1' on the display, then cycled through to 'side 2' then back again, then spat the tape out and the display read 'error'. why is it doing that? I used the tape adaptor in the celica for years with no problems at all. Why will the bose not take it? ta

I'll apply it later on before I pick the girlfriend up from work. Tell you what though, I was blown away with the lime prime product from dodo juice. Utterly amazing. The car looks like it's been freshly painted (other than the stone chips ) took me 5 hours to clean the exterior of the car, never spent so long cleaning a car before. But the results are amazing. Unfortunately my girlfriend has the camera so o shall post pics up later.

I used meguiers cleaner wax. What hapens if you put it on straight after the wax???

How long should I wait after applying the wax on the car to wipe it down with red mist as it says do not apply to fresh wax! Ta

The noise is coming from in front of the passenger rather than the door cards. where the glove box would normally be found.

i was also wondering this as i thought the car we bought had all options ticked other than the orange seats . now i know, i shall sleep better

If that's the one that pops out of the dashboard by the passengers right knee, then, our 04 car has one. I thought they all had them.

We have a really loud and annoying rattle coming from the footwell area of the passenger side. It seems to be the panel that has the 12v outlet and the cup-holder in it, very loud and only stops if the passenger puts pressure on it. Does anyone else suffer/suffered from this? if so, how do i stop it? even with the Bose turned up, it's bloody loud!
