  1. OK maybe not, but it sounded good in my head as one of the voices whispered it to me!

  3. Hey! I didn't post the PIC, I was just trying to guess who Flexib was referring to. So I mentioned a few of the older members I knew. And Ricey, cos you gotta love him!
  4. Taken out some bits from my list that I'm not gonna mention til I get fitted.

  6. Yep. Been up very late doing lots of research. Now to rob a bank so I can buy it all!
  7. Different colour, different products. Some give better results on different colours.
  8. BTW, didn't realise they had electronic equipment when you guys were young!
  9. The point with the standalone is that ITBs require a good old-fashioned cable controlled throttle, but the stock ECU relies on fly-by-wire throttle and gets massivley confused if you change that. Even if you added an airbox to use the stock MAF (makes the ITBs sort of pointless surely?) the cable control issue remains. It may be possible to somehow piggy-back the stock ECU but every Jenvey build I've seen (admittedly only three) has used a standalone for simplicity and enhanced tunability. Totally with you on the HR though. You wouldn't need to do anything to the intake or internals on an HR, just cams and you'd have a pretty sweet N/A motor. It would cost soooo much more to make a DE produce the same power N/A as an HR with cams. For some reason that doesn't stop me wanting to do it though DB Hence how I've got 325-330 bhp by just changing exhaust, adding HFCs and changing panel filters to cosworth panels. So much easier. ~ 54-59 bhp extra than a standard de engine. That's a small car!
  10. Shotgun! £10,000 to you kind sir! PM me! Lol.
  11. I can't justify £10k for a supercharger install. That's what makes the N/A route for me attractive. Small little touches to make the car perform better. Currently running about 325-330 bhp. Researching manifolds and cams atm.
  12. Was looking at their site earlier for carbon fibre parts. Maybe all carbon is the way to go! All your fault Arran!
  13. Only two or three places in the UK who can uprev zeds. Uprev is the remap licence. One is Horsham Developments, other is Abbey. Not sure who third is by I think they're near Leeds.
