I'd say the avons are not going to be brilliant on track. I would switch them for ps2's all round if you really want to enjoy the ring. I do wonder about the R888's, only ever seen them on proper trackday cars, would like to try some though.

I find it hard to break traction on the falken fk452's even in the wet, but the ps2's are just worth it for the feel they give on turning in, overall confidence and feedback. No doubt they are a massive step up, even from the vreds, which weren't bad. Don't think I'd use the falkens as track tyres but they're good enough for a daily. Less than the falken fk452s would be a death trap though imho.

I'm running out of time Nah, tbh, i'm having more problems with tar spots in the rears I just found you had to keep on top of it in winter, which, can be a bit... fun Basically, I was rinsing the wheels with distilled water after driving in the salt and giving them a wash with optimum no rinse a few times a week, waxing every week and they also had gtechnic c5 on them. I may go for some winter wheels just to not be faffing with that this year I don't think you'll have that much of a problem as there really isn't much lip to the rays, it's when they get a bit large in the back, it starts to have a bit of a tumble dryer effect.

Just a quick question, is it the honeycomb inside of the backbox you like also? I loved that also as well as the burnt tips, only thing which put me off is how it sounded with test pipes.

I thought from the soundclips on youtube it didn't sound too bad? Though I preferred the evo2 from them or the titanium version. I think the SE was also pretty similar to the SP2 when I looked at them? Heck it even says that in a comment on youtube
