  1. Loving the Humber Bridge pic...... a group meet there would be awesome for pictures.
  2. Nice aren't they?? I was unsure about the side decals when I first saw the pictures, I thought they might look tacky, but they really look amazing in the flesh.
  3. Looked awesome. First time I've seen a Yellow Edition (with side decals) in the flesh. I'm still surprised how few 370s there are out there.
  4. When the 350 came out I loved the design immediately, and it still looks as good today as it ever did. That's pretty good going seeing as Ferraris, Porsches and even Aston Martins look out of date as soon as the model is updated. In my opinion, the world wasn't ready for a totally new update of the 350, which is why I think many people snubbed the 370 design.... I know I did when I first saw it. My opinion was changed the first time i saw one in the flesh. One thing is for sure, the 370 is no minger, maybe it's just a little ahead of it's time (looks-wise I mean), and I'm sure it's classic shape will stay as fresh and modern as the 350 has. (Oh crap, I think I've just talked myself out of selling mine!!)
  5. Hey Matt. I wasn't really planning on selling the plate because I was hoping to use it again in the future when I replace my zed (or when Ferrari eventually get round to putting a new V6 Dino into production). However, until that happens I'm always open to "hard to turn down" offers.
  6. Thanks guys. I'm gutted, but really need to get my financial priorities in order. Hopefull by next Summer I'll have picked up a tidy little 350Z roadster so I can still meet you all in Wales again. That really was a fantastic day, and was also the day I realised what zed ownership is all about. This isn't the end....
  7. It is with much reluctance and regret that I am selling my beloved 370Z GT Ultimate. She is only 10 months old (registered October 2009) and has only done 8,500 miles. She has been properly looked after and is in immaculate condition both inside and out. Genuine reason for sale. Ebisu Black with Persimmon Orange interior; Automatic transmission; full GT spec including Sat Nav; 19 inch Rays Alloys; no mods. Cost £34,500 new (10 months ago). Offers around £29k. Private number plate not included in sale.
  8. If you are over 88db then I wonder if they'll accept an average reading of our 2 cars together, my 370 makes no noise at all..!!
  9. Great minds think alike Matt..... I was just looking on their website the other day. Its my local circuit too (only less than an hour away) and it seems really well organised. I was also looking at going on one of their racing car experience days; you get a few laps in a Porsche Cayman with an instructor before they let you loose in a Formula 2000 single seater. Its my birthday coming up in a couple of weeks and the other 'arf says she might treat me. But definately up for the track day if you are! Also, have you seen this thread? viewtopic.php?f=36&t=36753&p=548250&hilit=croft#p548250
  10. Brilliant.... you looked like you were taking it fairly easy until that Scooby got you mad, then you were flying!!
  11. Geeezz.... they're bloody common now. I knew I should have got a TT
  12. I'm on the list already. Can't wait!
  13. I am so proud of the fact that I own a Zed, I love the cars' history. As a small child I had a collection of matchbox cars, and the blue Datsun 240Z was always my favourite. I also remember when I was growing up going to a Nissan showroom with my mum and dad because they were buying a new Nissan Sunny, and seeing the most beautiful red sports car parked in the corner.... it was a newly launched 300ZX, with the targa roof. I even recall the dealer letting me have a sit in it (they were alot friendlier in those days!!), and I also remember begging my dad to buy that car instead and him telling me "we're not made of money!". I got a radio controlled 300ZX for Christmas that year which I was so pleased with!! I guess the Zed has always been in my blood. Sorry for hijacking your thread Martin, I just wanted to share my own personal experiences of the Nissan Zed history. That video bought back so many childhood memories. I'm very proud of the badge that sits on my car!!
  14. This is also a common problem on the 370 as well. I took mine back to the dealer to get it fixed but the boot popped open first time for them!!! Bloody typical, made me look like a fool!!
  15. Hell Nick, you write a decent review. I'm thinking of trading in the 370 for a 350 now!!!
  16. That's the trouble with the 370.... you can't park it anywhere without ladies wanting to stroke it..!!!
  17. I don't think our Zed club has too much to worry about, did anybody see how reckless that bloody Cortina club were as they left the Sportsman??? They should all be getting life bans for that!! There were over a hundred of them last year, but only 7 managed to dodge a ban for this years' meet!!
  18. No probs. I wish I'd have taken more but I spent to much time yakking!!
  19. Here are my pictures from Sunday....
  20. This was my first time at a car meet, and although I was a little aprehensive at first being a newbie, I was made to feel very welcome and had an absolutely amazing time. The weather couldn't have been any better, the drives were totally exhilerating, the cars were amazing, and the organisation was unbelievably professional and well thought out. I have to say I met some fantastic people this weekend, and learnt lots of new things about my car........ and how to keep it clean!! This forum is by far the best mod I will ever have for my Zed, although I've now compiled a new wish-list after this weekend!! Massive thanks to Colin and Dave for all your hard work in making this weekend the success it was, and to anyone else who was involved. It was very much appreciated, and I'm already looking forward to my next meet!! p.s. I'll post my photos on here as soon as I've worked out how!!
  21. OMG..... that's such a bargain!!! I can't believe nobody has snapped your hand off yet!!
  22. I'll be driving an Ebisu 370 Coupe on the Sunday as well....!! (Well, I hope so!?!?!?!?)
