  1. Must feel quite satisfying and arousing hey? Especially as it used to be someone else's knob
  2. Ive just fitted an avx840 nearer £400 than £300 though.....
  3. Portsmouth? Zugara kept that quiet
  4. Mate I am not knocking you for doing things yourself but maybe time to take it to a pro, try and find a mobile one with a good rep. They will have it sorted in no time or confirm that the HU is faulty. Sometimes you have to know when your talent has reached its apex. I fitted my own HU 2 years back, it worked but i had alternator whine and i fitted my boosters wrong took it to an ICE place to have some speakers fitted and got them to sort it out. I think the fact you got a Chinese unit has rendered a lot of help from here useless as it sounds a bit 'unique' for want of a better word....
  5. From what I have read on here you need upper and lower plenum spacers on a revup Zed, I can't remember if Paul had a bulge or not if he did it certainly wasn't much to write home about..... If he had a bulge then he never had a spacer well his was a facelift Zed so that explains why the plenum spacer did bugger all, he needed the lower one too
  6. Basically what I did but as mine is an 04 I got a plenum spacer too but i think the 313 would need upper AND lower spacers so pricey. With a 2k budget depending on what Zorst & Y-pipe combo you go for you could factor in some decent panel filters too For reference, Milltek, 2nd hand Berks & upRev cost me < £1,500 I would advise you do your homework and don't rely on utube clips of Zorsts or you may end up with many different combinations... I know this from experience
  7. Its a Navman Panoramic satnav as thats all i wanted / needed It was tricky as not done that kind of thing before but not too bad. Yeah the unit turns on with the ignition but i had to fit a little button to turn it off otherwise the internal battery ran down... More info here - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=54590 And here - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=55737 Although the cubby is not motorised at the moment as when i changed the HU i pulled the power cables off the motor and i need s new soldering iron, so i took it off.... It will go back some rainy day though
  8. I was asking as I had exactly the same thought, I actually changed an all in one Pioneer unit for a sat nav in the cubby and a 7" unit. I much prefer the position of the nav too
  9. From what I have read on here you need upper and lower plenum spacers on a revup Zed, I can't remember if Paul had a bulge or not if he did it certainly wasn't much to write home about.....
  10. I think you could sell tickets for the Zed Shed
  11. And how dull the world wound be if we all wore the same pants and drove the same cars I always drive commando
  12. I don't agree, I think everyone will hate them Modding is always a personal thing
  13. If you have a Pioneer unit that has Bluetooth, ipod, dvd etc what do you want the tablet for?
  14. £1950 of fuel and £50 to treat the misus to something nice from the petrol station shop
  15. Zugara + Adult Conversation = Fail mind you Me + something worthwhile also = fail
  16. Good idea Now I just need to find a rodent that farts too and I am safe
  17. His dog doesn't like your sticker either
  18. I saw your bonnet on Tuesday night Looks better on the car I have to agree with the comments on the sticker, it just draws attention to something that doesn't really need attention if you know what I mean...
  19. You must have a good memory then
  20. Chris, don't bother arguing with Zugara.... he knows less than me
  21. He did park quite close However I know it is almost undetectable to the human eye but it is actually a mock up
  22. As said a few times, only really worthwhile if you are going to get an upRev
  23. And look who else has popped by the office
  24. Unfortunately it may be your headunit at fault, what type make is it?
  25. If the screen is a 7" one you wont have access to the button... you will also need to take off the outer casing to get it to fit nice and snug What Pioneer do you have, you should have an aux in hopefully
