You'll need to take multiple shots of a certain item /object, I usually do about 7 shots. Keep the camera on a tripod or if you don't have a tripod balance the camera on a wall (just make sure it doesn't move ). Take one shot at 1/40, one shot at 1/60 and so forth until about 1/250, import these into your PC and onto Photoshop then 'File' -> 'Automate' -> 'Merge to HDR', select your photo set and 'OK'. Once Photoshop has finished combining it will give you a final say before you Merge all photos, fine tune if needs be and 'OK'. Once this is doen you will have one HDR image ready for editing.

Are you able to change your shutter speed? If you can't you will need multiple shots at different exposure levels, so take one single photo, copy 2 or 3 times and use Adobe Lightroom to change exposure levels for each copy. Once you've done that, use Photoshop or Photomatix to merge the photos together.

Ok this is an attempted Lightroom HDR, I can already see it doesn't follow the same extremities as a multiple photo merge (this pic comprises of two photos). It seemed to come out quite well though after playing around in Lightroom and CS4, tell me what you think!
  4. I haven't been there for a fair few months, but I'm pretty certain it's called The Crown, the location is called Poak. It's quite a large pub and there's alot of garden space. You really did come a long way! I only live the other side of the hills, fortunate as I get to have a blast around the twisty roads quite frequently and there's usually not so much traffic like Saturday! If you get the chance again you should head to Presteigne, fantastic roads and some of the best 'real' country pubs around! +1
  5. I did guess you might've been lost actually as the road you were travelling on only goes to a small country town! Really? How far had you travelled? If you had turned round and gone out toward Worcester there's a a pub at some crossroads that has the country atmosphere with great food!
  6. to the forum! Go get yourself a drive in a Zed, that'll sort it!

  15. what do you think the new robin hood is going to be like Tough call! Usually my reaction would be "ahh God you damn maniacs!!" quote Russel Crowe and Ridley Scott teaming up for perhaps another epic. I'll watch it, but I've got a feeling I'm going to be comparing it to Gladiator for some reason!
  16. Once Hollywood think they can make some money out of a remake they put all their eggs in one basket and It becomes 'poorly-acted, predictable dribble'! How about a few more wrecked films; The Italian Job, Friday 13th, Pyscho, The Hitcher??
  17. +1 '3:10 to Yuma' ...best sleep I've ever had!
  18. Looks more like it may have been made by someone walking past carrying something, only takes a careless person trying to squeeze past!
