No just caps, plastic so they won't corrode onto your stems. I don't think I've ever come across covers for the actual stems.

Yeah it does look like that. It's the beginning of my surname, which is Caulfield, I get called 'Caulf' a lot by friends etc

Do you use a detailing brush to clean in the tighter gaps? Would definitely make your life easier.
