    I dont get why you have not put the correct size tyre on there mate, nice wheels, but the tyres look stupid for the rim size. sorry, but others have said the same thing. As long as it floats your boat, that all that matters. But whats the point of having rims wider than the tyre.

    I believe they are chassis stiffeners. You should be able to work it flat, and do as you have said.
