  10. Now THAT IS nice. I would even drive that.
  11. Tough dilema mate, I think, in this time of rip off england, I would be tempted to buy something a bit more "frugal" on the running costs. Very hard times ahead i feel, and most motorists are going to suffer in some way if you own a sports car with a large engine. Cheers Mr Camerooooooon. Tw4T.....
  12. I already have. I now only put a tenner in at a time and thats only because I have too. The fuel hikes have really driven the zest for running my car straight out of the window, now I hate driving it but love the car too bits. The wacking grin has long Gone, now its just a grimmace when i turn the ignition on. Cars getting sorn end of feb(tax runs out then), cant justify running this machine any longer and will be selling up at some point in the spring/ summer, so she will sit stationary for a few months covered up awaiting a new owner. I am, like most, totally and utterly peed off with the ever increasing fuel costs. Its an absolute disgrace and it must be having an effect on the everyday motorist's pocket. And itts due to go up "again" in April, There is really no end to it as far as I can see. Sorry but I've been beat by the robbing cameroooooooon and his band of dandy highway men. The motorist IS always the easy peasy target, and I have been beaten. Still their loss I guess, another £425 road fund down, wonder how many more really are in the same position but wont admit it. I dont care to say, I am not "well healed" like some others on here, and It dosent bother me, What bothers me is being squeezed more and more for tax hikes seemingly every day. So the less tax I have to pay the better.
  13. You should have washers to go under the brace to raise it up a bit giving the clearance you need.

  16. Hit it with a sledge hammer. Be gone Bose be gone........
  17. Ok, from my point. I think you are only looking at the negative side of owning a soft top. Things you have suggested that might happen sometimes do, but not often. Have i ever had anything happen to me? In short, no. Worst is muppest decide to wash their winscreens when in front, but it makes for a refreshing mist of cool air in the summer. Have i owned a soft top before my zed, no. Do i regret owning it, no. Would i have another soft top, yes indeed. Sure, we have a few drips of water getting in the car, and? Never suffered with condensation either. Its great getting the top down when it nice weather, early mornings on a summers day are great. One problem i have is that when roof is down the sun can be right in your eyes. Answer, hat. All in all, apart from being robbed blind by the ever increasing cost of running it, to which i now question is it worth it, its a great car come rain or shine and have never regretted buying or owning it.
