I would say, if you have any doubt walk away, As said, there are good quality Zs about so have a good look around for a better example. My 07 had one scratch about half inch long when I bought it, that to me was owned by a previous careful owner. Keep looking...

I think its the pads chattering within the caliper , slowly reverse and apply brakes, you should hear a "clack" noise if so then thats what the problem is. It is the same on mine. Very annoying but something you learn to l ive with i guess The metal "nipples" are wear indicators, and does not matter if on inside or out.

What you have done i think is you have pushed the selector buttons , tape, radio,cd under the facia plate. Get a small knife and inserst between the buttons and facia plate to release the buttons, one button will be holding down not alowing you to select anything. I speak from experience

I have buttons both sides, rhs for cruise, lhs for stereo. I did see some when I was looking with only buttons on the rhs, and all had cloth seats.
