  1. Hmmm, thanks for that...
  2. I cant view any pictures within that thread as i'm at work, but are they not going to be of satin black wheels? I dont want anything as dark as that, more something a few shades darker than standard. Thanks.
  3. Hi all. Am thinking of refurbing my rays and having a colour change at the same time. I was wondering if anyone has a picture of a GM 350 with gunmetal rays alloys? Im not sure if it would be a bit too samey or not, but cant think of any other colours that i would choose, so if anyone has a pic it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Thanks. Is it just a tone you can hear from outside though? Or is it audible in the cabin?
  5. Interesting replys. As my exhaust is still in good condition i dont think i will change it. It seems like a lot of you dont think there is a lot of change in the sound inside the cabin, and i am not thinking about doing it for the benefit of others (ie those outside the car)! I may well change my mind again tomorrow of course....
  6. The link posted here solved this problem when i bought my Z.
  7. Thats just with the back box? The thing is, the std system has quite a nice sound to it (UK), which is why im always interested to hear peoples before and after impressions. I would just like the exhaust system to be a bit more audible at higher revs. It sounds great between 1.5K to 2.5K or so. Thanks for your thoughts
  8. Thanks guys, i thought this would be the case....
  9. Hi all. I'm wondering how much the volume & tone of the exhaust note changes with just the above mod? I have been tempted to change my back box from the std UK one for some time, but cant really justify the cost of the Y pipe as well (as its purely for the sound). I have listened to countless Youtube clips but they are not easy to judge, and i always struggle making meets. So if anyone can give me an honest view on whether it is worth making the change on just the back box, or whether you really need to do the Y pipe as well it would be much appreciated
  10. My 200sx used to pop and flame on demand. Childish but huge fun.
  11. New car feeling is the best feeling in the world
  12. That's a shame. Nice try though, at that price it would have been great.
  13. Dont get me wrong, its nothing to do with qualiity. The spacers are of exceptional quality. I torqued the nuts to 115nm so they are dead tight Its more the effect of moving the wheels further from the steering axis/struts that I suspected may make a difference, which would obviously be the same for all spacers. Im always paranoid about changes like this, and was keeping an ear / eye etc out for any change in ride quality & feel but i have not felt any detrimental effects. Obviously different people will have different standards though.

  15. I have just fitted 20mm front 25mm rear to mine last weekend. They look good and really fill the arches well. I bought 1 pair 2nd hand from here (eibachs) and 1 pair from mwtech (on this forum). When held up side by side the eibachs are of a higher quality imo but the others are cheaper and seem to do the job perfectly well.
  16. Camskill are very quick and i think they have a special relationship with falken if memory serves...
  17. Its true, i have read so few threads on this board relating to engine problems of any type. The higher mileage is more likely to cause issue on suspension components / interior wear etc than harming the engine..... touch wood!

Nice work posting up that guide. Interesting to hear the bumper does not need removal. When i asked about this a while ago i was told it would be much easier to remove the bumper first. Did you find it difficult to work around?
  20. Well the megs clay worked a treat! Thanks for the advice.
  21. I'm 6'3" and fitted in to a Mk1 fine, but found the driving position in a mk2.5 hopeless (eyeline level with top of windscreen) due to the heated seats.
