  1. Thanks for that. So that holds true post remap also?
  2. Just a quick question: - I understand that fitting a pop charger actually causes a small drop in horsepower, but if you have the car remapped by one of the big 2 here ( ), will the pop charger be able to provide a performance gain over stock? Or would the stock item still yield the best results after a remap? This is assuming everything else is stock. Thanks guys, not just theoretical btw, considering the best mods for me to make (combining sound and performance).
  3. Odd, I started turning mine clockwise and with each click I could see the bram pattern lowering on the wall I was facing. Turning the screwdriver anti clockwise brought them up. This was the same for both headlights.
  4. Just adjusted mine and want to make sure I am not going crazy, you turn the screwdriver anti clockwise correct? Therefore rotating the assembly clockwise... Or are my units different to everyone else?!?
  5. Touch wood I have never had to top up between services.
  6. First one I have seen in the metal. For some reason I thought it was a 370 on first glance.
  7. I have not noticed any change in the handling feel and I have 20mm front and 25mm rear spacers. The rays do look pretty hidden without them (it was the only negative comment I have ever received regarding the car).
  8. Try contact cleaner or wd40 on the switch. It takes 30 seconds and has worked for 8 months and counting (what's the betting it won't work tomorrow).
  9. I really can't say I have noticed any difference in handling or feel since putting mine on several months ago...
  10. I am another who would love another key for my UK car (only got 1 with it), but am put off my all the stories on here of it not working properly....
  11. Can you be a bit more precise please? Also what year is your car (yes I'm being lazy & not searching your first post)? The year of the car has a bearing due to suspension changes etc, etc. second half of the year 2006. it's not a comment about the car. the point of this post was to find out how bad the roads are and how bad it can be to drive the Z on them. When the roads are smoooooothh and there are still one or two fortunately (A36 leading into bath for example, a few really nice bends with a combination of good road surface) then the Z is a exceptionally good ride. It is literally when you get a few yards of very crap road and the car bounces around, your foot keeps coming off and on to the accelerator pedal do i think, what a crap time to buy a sports car. Must be some particularly bad patches round your way, i have never been on a section of road where the Z is bucked around that badly. It was a common occurence on my MINI Cooper S.
  12. I bet its not, nearly every photo i see of GM 350z's make the front bumper seem a shade lighter...
  13. Thanks for that link. Does it prevent water marks? After rainfall my car looks dirtier than those that are never washed.
  14. Pricey stuff. Have you used it yourself? I know that there is enough in the bottle for a life time, so i guess its not so bad long term. Thanks for the recommendation
  15. Hi When i wax / QD my Z i find that i get terrible rain spots (after its rained, obviously). This is because the water beads and sits on my bonnet etc for hours. Im starting to think i would be better off without any wax etc. Can anyone recommend a sealant that allows the water to sheet off? Or do none of them really do this? Your help would be much appreciated!
  16. I had an mx5 a few years ago. They are excellent cars with brilliant handling. Unfortunatley they really are very slow as standard. People say it does not matter but to me it did...
  17. True enough, but I'm a natural pessimist...
  18. And it's a pass with no advisorys. I'm over the moon tbh, that's 2 years in a row I have had cars that have been good to me. I would treat it to a wash as a reward, but I only did it 3 days ago. So the standard rule applies, worry about it failing on everything and it will be a lovely relief when you get the all clear!
  19. Sorry but that is a little bit funny
  20. Hi all I dont suppose anyone knows if the front and rear discs listed on the brakeparts.co.uk site are the correct ones for brembo callipers? The part no for the front are BDS6251 if that helps? They also only list one type of pad... again, does anyone know if this is suitable for brembo callipers? Big if anyone has experience ordering with them and knows the answer
  21. Gah, can't view the picture from my work pc. Will have a look this evening. Thanks for taking the time to post it up.
