Well my Zed's 6 years old and I'm going to give her a bit of an upgrade .............. I almost put her up for sale last year when I got p!$$ed off with the banana bar rattle and the airbag warning light but now I've decided that she deserves a bit of TLC ...... since then I've had the Rays refurbed, new Falkens all round, repairs to window tints and new PIAA blades ............ so here's the plan going forward 1 - CF B pillar covers (thanks Scott) 2 - Zunsport grille in silver (thanks Husky) 3 - Number plate re-sited into grille .... front bumper smoothed (with new pearl black Z badge on order from Envy) 4 - Front bumper resprayed GM with piano black to centre below-grille section 5 - Roof resprayed piano black (dcash5's photo convinced me that this IS the way forward) 6 - Splash guards sprayed in body colour (thanks Sarnie) 7 - Professional exterior detail 8 - Full on interior detail by the wifey (she's the best I know at this) 9 - Limo tint to rear window 10 - wheel spacers 20 + 25 11 - Stubby 12 - LED rears (on order from Alex and thanks Lincolnbaggie .. following your baby convinced my wife) 13 - HuskyStylee reverse/fog/indicator lights My Z will be in the body-shop whist I have a well deserved holiday down under with my family and the F1 guys Can you think of anything else that I should consider whilst the car is in the body-shop ? .......... all advice gratefully received

Before you claim make sure the local authority are aware of the particular pothole .... if it hasn't been reported as a new hazard they have a get out clause ........... obviously get someone else to report it since they will ask for your name and address and don't make your claim until you are sure that they have had chance to inspect the pothole

Mpg depends on how you drive ............. I drive 23 miles to work mostly Mway and average 24.7 mpg @ 34 mph average ............you can get more if you go easy but that begs the question WHY ??? Ok the car isn't cheap to run but that is not why you buy it in the first place is it ? I've had my car 6 years as a daily driver and I still look forward to the drive to work every day when the sun's shining My advice is BUY ONE AND ENJOY IT WHILST YOU CAN Wel come to our club PS ............................... plenty of nice cars for sale on here

mine are the same ................ better to do some pics when the car is clean and the sun is shining (if it ever does again) What do you think about the Brembos ? ....... needs a different colour with GM IMO

I think this banana bar rattle is a big problem because it's very difficult to diagnose (or so I'm told) with the car off the ground. I found that riding the brake with the left foot stopped the rattle. Still don't know about the steering though ......... I never tried what you suggest

I'd say the 'banana bar' is the culprit for the rattle .... don't know about the steering knock

Looks OK and red is a very desirable colour imo (not too many reds about) ........... BL are OK too ..... I think Nixy uses that garage ..... I can attend if you want me to ... I don't live too far away just let me know when you'll be there and you can have a look at mine which is a GT of the same vintage

As they came from the dealer as an unrequested extra when new ....... because my car was 2 weeks late the dealer tried to pacify me by giving me a few bits and pieces ... the best thing he did was give me the demonstrator for 2 weeks .... boy that car was fast

Interestingly, both kits mentioned to date have got rid of the fangs

at the bottom end of the wiper arm, the bit that's fixed to the spindle . Corrosion is a problem here especially on the drivers side
