    I hope Nico wins the drivers' championship for Mercedes, for no other reason than the fact that he set his stall out with the team from day one with Schumacher as his mentor, (against whom he shone more than once), and has stayed (and will stay imo) loyal through thick and thin, rather than jumping ship when he thinks there's a better chance with another team ... ETA That appears to be my eleven thousand, one hundred and eleventh post on this Forum so I think I'll have a lie down for the remainder of the day ha ha

    I remember those days well mate. Hella spots on the front and all that. Me and 3 mates swapping an engine in my Ford Capri, using a scaffold pole and some rope as an engine hoist :lol: My eldest used a scaffold pole as an exhaust on a Capri !

    In my day it was the more gauges the better ... also Motorola push button radios ruled ... and electric aerials, and steering wheel gloves, and big Lucas reversing lights, and fake leopard skin seat covers, and switches ... we loved switches even if they weren't connected to anything ... ha ha those were the days

    I used to worry about oil pressure in the Zed ... now I haven't got any gauges in the CLK and so I don't worry at all ... it tells me when oil level is getting low so I just wait till that comes up ! simples !

    May I refer the honourable gentleman to a previous thread where he had to admit to his misuse of apostrophes when used to denote the genitive case of a plural noun ... which proves, to me at least, that you haven't got a superior command of the English language
