update; just had a look its been in the rice for about 18 hrs now and all the condensation on the screen has gone, take the sim out idea i did when it happened and blasted a high pressure air line into it to try and blast out the water and got a fair bit out, im not going to take it apart as they might not pay out on the insurance when i come to claim, i set up an insurance on it today but have to wait 21 days before i can claim which i think is a bit wrong as if im insured then it should be from the start date surely? oh well it seems like were making progress fingers crossed

i tried it the apple logo came up for a while then the lights came on with nothing else! i think its shagged

im not going to take it apart, thats only going to open a bigger can of worms. its on already i cant turn it off! the screen doesnt work and the backlights dont come on will this make a difference? its in a pot of rice now so fingers crossed! im livid about this ive only had it for a week!

i got an iphone 3Gs last weekend and today at work (im a plumber) a 2 inch pipe blew off from its valve! to say i got wet was an understatement. i would have been drier if i had jumped in a swimming pool. this im not worried about but my phone is now not turning on or nothing, can they be repaired from water damage? i dont have insurance on it as i thought i was covered by my bank account so i cancelled it yesterday and now i find out i had to register my phone with my bank! vodafone have quoted me £450 for a new one and its on an 18month contract, help please

i believe there standard pads, they have been on there since i bought the car so i have no idea, so i should change them then? what does everyone recommend? i have read that ebc are really dusty? thanks for the help

my brembos make a horrible squealing noise when braking, it doesnt seem to do it when its raining and didnt do it as much during the winter so im thinking its the brakes getting too hot? ive done the braking in procedure and that hasnt helped, ive had a look at the pads and there seems to be a decent amount of life left in them so im baffled? do i need brake shims to stop the heat transfering? help please this is driving me nuts!

Good advice i hope shes a keeper..but will take alot to align every panel back into place..gaps everywhere! we'll see if shes straight first... if not- no good! Are the gaps just between aftermarket and stock panels? I.E. the new carbon bonnet and the wings / bumper, or are they actually at every single join in panels? If it's just in aftermarket stuff I'd have thought it'll just be either the quality of the aftermarket bits or the fitment of them bits. Maybe Max rushed a few bits and didn't fit things quite right or sommat. My advise would be to wait and see. If it was bent in the accident I can't see it not being recorded. Is there any of the original interior? Are there signs that the airbags have deployed? Maybe they cheaped out and bought poor copies of the kit? hope not but you never know

if its not straight and true where will you stand in regards to max power giving you a car thats not roadworthy? surely they will have to give you either the money it should be worth or a new one?

when you have the immobiliser code for the car how do you programme the keys? and how do you get the new keys as the uk ones opperate at a different bandwidth
