  11. +1 thats half the reason i changed mine!!
  12. i changed my jdm to a uk one and its a straight swap, there is a metal number plate holder for the jdm which is hinged behind the bumper but everything is a straight swap! im not too sure about the number plate lights but as i was going the other way to a uk one mine are smaller have big gaps each side but you may have to cut yours down
  13. what does everyone think of autoglym car cleaning products? ive always used them apart from one try with turtle wax which went straight to the back of the cupboard after and has never come back out and thought they were quite good but was wondering what everyone else thinks of them and if there are much better products out there?
  14. hi nixy, yeah definatly sounds like spilled oil from when he primed it, he shold have caught it in a pot or dish or something. make sure there isnt a leak on the oil feed into the boiler where pulled it apart to seal it and if not you really do need to find where he spilled it or the smell isnt going away! make sure to keep any pets out of there aswell if you have any, hope this helps
  15. i would smooth out the badge on the bumper but leave the lines from the bonnet, looks like a decent fit though!
  16. Yeah i know! i remeasured it 3 times after that because i was sure it was wrong but the badge is definatly off centre!
  17. just spent all morning fitting front bumper and rear spoiler! i would have had a go at the rest but i'd had enough after this ive just put a guide up on how i did the spoiler! also if anyone can tell me how to get bolts that i dropped in the bootlid out it would be much appreciated
  18. I decided to fit this myself to save a bit on bodyshop costs and also it means i dont have to lug it down there on the passenger seat! I started by masking up a centre line through the middle of the boot lid and took some measurements and got an exact centre line, after I did this i marked up the centre of the spoiler and lined them up making sure at all times that all the measurements were equal on both sides once i was happy with the positioning of the spoiler I put some more masking tape over all the bootlid where the edge of the spoiler would be and drew a line around the outside of the base of the spoiler this is the horrible bit! I took the measurements off the spoiler for the boltholes and transfered them to the bootlid! take every measurement at least twice! you really dont want to get this bit wrong! I drilled all the holes after i finished marking up with a 6mm drill bit which suited the bolts i was using just fine! After i drilled those bad boys i lifted the bootlid and drilled a 20mm hole on the underside of the lid for the 2 bolts that are nearest the rear window (nissan kindly already put holes for the other 2) I used a paintbrush to paint primer over the bare metal on the holes ive drilled to keep away the dredded rust! I also applied some silicone grease around the holes to keep water out, its only temporary but i didnt want anything that would set so the bodyshop can get it off without damaging it! then its just a case of put the spoiler on and bolt it up! Bobs your uncle! jobs a gooden!!!!!
