  1. It's a vertical tonneau, one of the best things I ever bought! They are difficult to find, I was very lucky and got mine off a another forum member. You can have that one for free if you buy the car Chris.
  2. I Don't actually know the mileage the previous owner gave them to me when I bought the car. Hmm scrap, thanks for the info I'll google that now. Chris.
  3. All, Sorry for the 'Whats it worth' post but I'm selling my zed so am having a bit of a part out. I have a pair of used Catalytic converters. They good in good condition although one does have a large scuff on it. Pics are here https://picasaweb.google.com/100118997235807843983/350zCatalyticConverters?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCMaliMmylNmtCg&feat=directlink I've no idea what to ask for and can't find any examples on the forum or ebay. Thanks in advance. Chris

  5. For sale are 18" light weight RAYS. They are ideal as a second set of wheels for track days or Winter as they do have some kerbing and bubbling but they are all round and balance fine. They have tyres on but they only have 2mm of tread on (please note I've not measured this so please don't take as 100% accurate). The tyres are RE040 on the front and RE050 on the rear. No punctures or damage. Photos are available herel: Would like £400 for them. PRICE REDUCED see post below. .NOW SOLD Chris
  6. Car cleaned and more photos and added to the link. Car will be going on autotrader next week. Chris
  7. If you wanted the light weight rays I have set in the garage, I'm sure we could come to a deal Chris.
  8. weekend bump. Looks like I have found another car so this will just be for the weekend until it sells. Also means mileage shouldn't creep much above 86k.
  9. SOLD - mods please lock. Thanks. All, It is with great regret that I advertise my zed for sale. I am selling this car becasue my circumstances have changed and i now need to do 550 miles a week for work. The zed is a great place to spend time but with it being all motorway i can't justify the extra fuel costs over a diesel. If my drive to work was on a country lane it would be a very different matter. I have owned this car for 2 and a half years and 25k miles, I bought the car off a friend so know the history. I have been as honest as possible declaring the few bad points of the car at the end of the advert. I would like this car to go to a forum member. I'm after £5750. I couldn't get embedding the images to work so have included a link... https://picasaweb.google.com/100118997235807843983/CarForSalePic?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCJPHh9OLlpP3vQE&feat=directlink 2003 ’53 UK 350z GT Silver 86,000 miles So the car is 2003 UK GT model on a ’53 plate, registered Nov 03. It has all the usual extras that come with a GT including heated leather electric seats, cruise controls and radio controls on the steering wheel. It also has the light weight RAYS alloys and Bluetooth. I will also include the vertical Tonneau and cargo net The RAYS were recently refurbished and do not have a single mark on them. The tyres are in very good condition, I would guess over 5mm all round. There are few marks but for its age the body work is in very good condition. The car has been run on super unleaded only, nearly always Shell or Tesco 99Ron. Servicing and Maintenance I bought this car from a friend so I know the history from around 25k. It has been serviced exclusively at main dealers and specials as follows; 84,727 - 22/04/12 - P1 - Litchfields Imports 75,515 - 25/03/11 - P3 - Lockwood & Greenwood (+ gearbox and diff Oil) 66,557 -10/08/10 – P1 – Lockwood & Greenwood 58,670 – 25/09/09 – P2 –Chorley Nissan 52,009 – 30/09/08 – P1 – Chorley Nissan 41,647 – 01/10/07 – P3 – Chorley Nissan 32,593 – 19/03/07 – P2 – Chorley Nissan 20,540 - ??/06/06 – P2 – Chorley Nissan Wigan MOT & Tax It has an MOT until 15th November 2012 and Tax until 31st November 2012. Maintenance It had a new rear wheel bearing in March Braided Brake lines and new brake fluid in November 2011 New tyres (Vredesteins Setanta) in November 2011 Front discs (DBAs) and Pads (DS2500) March 2011 New rear drop links in Nov 2010 Rear discs (EBC) and Pads (DS2500) in April 2010 Any questions please PM me. Thanks for reading, Chris.
  10. Very nice. Not often you get anything back when it comes to Tax!
  11. I think if you want to to move quickly advertise for £6250 if you are happy to take a bit more time advertise for nearer £7k. Good luck with the sale.
  12. Sad day. hope it's not long till you pick up the new car!
  13. Very nice. If your drive home was anything like mine tonight it wasn't a great day to get to know your new pride and joy! The motorway was

I'm not normally one for modded cars but they are both
  15. Admiral are useless I had loads of trouble this year. They got all the details wrong even though I double checked them on the phone Luckily I checked the docs but I was fuming. I rang up and they tried to charge me an extra £200!!
  16. Any super is fine although the higher the RON the better. Tesco does 99RON, Shell does 99RON, BP does 97 RON Not sure about any others.
  17. That must have been a scary moment! So are you saying that your car (the damaged one) was a JDM model and the insurance had it down as a UK model so refused to pay out on the insurance claim? Glad it is all sorted now, just goes to show you can't be too careful when it comes to insurance.
  18. The last few thousand miles have seen 28.5mpg. That's mostly motorway with 40% 'outside lane' driving, 40% flowing traffic and 20% around town. Not bad for the engine size and power Careful mostly motorway driving can see over 30mpg. Not much fun though.
  19. Very. Looks like it was worth every penny!
  20. Welcome to the Site. I'm sure you will enjoy zed ownership and this Site makes it all the better.
  21. I think I read somewhere that they changed the seats at some point early on in production. The second knob is for the lumbar support. The early cars (2003 for example) don't have adjustable lumbar.
