  1. Hi ioneabee, just seen your listing, you have a very nice 370z. I'm glad the site worked well for you. The valuation is completely independent to us and is provided by an external supplier. The big players in the valuation market wanted significant money which we struggled to make add up until the volumes increase. We are currently trying a smaller supplier and are carefully reviewing their performance so thank you for the feedback on the valuation on your car. Chris.
  2. Sorry you have had issues. Please could you PM me or email info@direct2dealers.co.uk with details on your device and browser and I'll get that checked straight away. Thanks, Chris.
  3. Hi Jetpilot, Your are correct that is a risk but it is one we have tried to mitigate as much as possible in the following ways; 1. Ensuring the listing process asks all the right questions to avoid anything being accidentally missed. 2. Making sure users know that any inaccuracies or ommissions from listings could lead to an offer being withdrawn. 3. Making it as easy as possible to upload photos rather than just descriptions (direct from your phones camera for example). 4. We also have plans for a feedback system on dealers so you can take that in to consideration when comparing offers. I'm glad you like the concept though we hope it will appeal to those who find selling privately too much hard work or too risky. Chris.
  4. Hi All, I've not posted much since i sold my 350z but I have been involved in creating a new website for selling your car to the trade (www.direct2dealers.co.uk) and as car enthusiasts I thought you might be interested. The website gives an alternative to selling via the current methods of the classifieds, trade-in or using a ‘cash for any car’ service. Here is why it is different to each; Classifieds – Rather than putting up a phone number and potential buyers getting in touch, when you use direct2dealers the deal is arranged entirely through the website. When you list your car you are asked for all the information car dealers require to value the car and they then make you offers based on this information. Once a deal is agreed you either drop off the car or they collect it. This means that once listed you don’t need to be available to take calls or viewing. It also means avoiding the potentially awkward situation of confirming the buyer has insurance for test drives. Trade-in – Obviously this is one of the most convenient ways to sell your car, although sometimes the car you’re selling isn’t really of interest to the dealer. direct2dealers gives you the chance to find a garage that does want your car therefore can give you a better price. ‘Cash for any car’ service – Many of these services buy your car and put it straight in to auctions for the trade to buy. direct2dealers does exactly what it says on the tin and gives you the chance to sell direct to the dealers. Reducing the chain cuts costs and this means some of the savings can be passed on to you. It is free to list your car and view your offers so if you are considering selling it could be worth checking it out. I’m currently in the Lakes and my internet access is a bit patchy but I’ll do my best to keep checking on this post. Chris.
  5. Hi, No problem wrapping this ready to be couriered. Just drop me a PM if you would like to discuss further. Chris.
  6. These too are still for sale. Sensible offers considered. Chris

  9. Tonneau provisionally sold and I have two reserve buyers. If all fall through I will update this post. Chris. I have for sale a rare genuine Nissan vertical Tonneau which sits under the rear strut brace and divides off the boot. It is ideal to prevent people seeing in the boot and slightly reducing road noise. It comes with all the brackets although I had to use a shortened standard raw plug to attach to the underside of the strut brace, it kept it very firm though with no rattles. I will send everything I used so you can re-use or remake new ones as required. Pictures can be found https://picasaweb.google.com/100118997235807843983/VerticalTonneau?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCLPBtffnqMKt2AE&feat=directlink Its in very good condition and I would like £100 plus p&p or collection form Manchester. These are very rare and i've not seen many genuine ones come up for sale. I also have a Cargo net, not sure if it is genuine or not but is good condition. Pictures at the lint above. £15 plus p&p or collection from Manchester. Cargo Net NOW SOLD. Please PM for more details. Chris.
  10. Mine was on 86k when i sold it and still on the original clutch and felt fine. There a good few stories of people getting over 100k out of them but other needing a new clutch after on 30k. Very difficult to predict so if it feels fine i wouldn't worry about, unless its been replaced recently whatever the mileage you carry the risk. Chris.
  11. OK i know this won't be top of many peoples list given the time of year but i have a set of unopened and never used Autosock snow socks for the rear of a 350 with the light weight rays. They are the 695 versions and can be yours for only £50 plus p&p or collection from Manchester. 12. For sale an Air con pump off a 2003 350z. It was fully functioning when removed from the car 2 years ago and has been dry stored since. When removed the car had done about 65k. Pictures available here: https://picasaweb.google.com/100118997235807843983/AirconPump?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCIuT3pCQkNfWqgE&feat=directlink I would like £70 plus p&p or collection from manchester. Any questions please PM me. Chris.
  13. Genuine Nissan rear wheel bearing. I bought a pair off ZMANALEX but sold the car before i got around to fitting the second. Packaging unopened. Pics can be found here https://picasaweb.google.com/100118997235807843983/WheelBearing?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCMTpwIyog5Kh4gE&feat=directlink I would like £70 plus p&p or collection from manchester. Chris
  14. Hello, I have one of these in my Garage that was from a 2003 mode taken off about 2 years and and dry stored since. I can't offer a guarantee but you can have it for a steal if you want it and it worked fine when removed. Just drop me a PM. Chris.
  15. All, When I bought my car it came with a pair of spare cats from the previous owner. I did not have a need to change them and i have now sold the car. They have been dry stored and are in good condition although there are a few scuffs on the guards. Photo's can be found at https://picasaweb.google.com/100118997235807843983/350zCatalyticConverters?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCMaliMmylNmtCg&feat=directlink I'm asking £100 for the pair but I'd consider offers. Collection from manchester preferred but deliver can be arrange by the buyer if required. Any questions please drop me a PM. Chris. Edit note:Price changed on advice of another member but I'll still consider sensible offers.
  16. This is still for sale. In good condition so perfect as a replacement or to keep as a spare as these aren't cheap new. PM me if you're interested or have any questions. Chris.
  17. I never got round to putting these on ebay and they are still in my garage. So....if someone can come collect them from West Manchester will take £300 (No offers! This is a good price). They are perfect as a set of track wheels or a winter set. I will give preference to those who can collect (sorry!) and the order i get PMs will be the next criteria. Thanks, Chris. P.s i also have a few other items for sale (because i sold the car) so please check out my other posts. Items include a stock Y pipe, Aircon pump and rear wheel bearing.
  18. Hi trackpig, Sorry for the slow reply it's been a busy week. I'm based near Manchester. Chris.
  19. I'm based just west of Manchester, near Eccles. If you PM me I'll send you my phone number if you want any extra info. Chris.
