The big players in the valuation market wanted significant money which we struggled to make add up until the volumes increase. Hi Jetpilot, Your are correct that is a risk but it is one we have tried to mitigate as much as possible in the following ways; 1. Ensuring the listing process asks all the right questions to avoid anything being accidentally missed. 2. Making sure users know that any inaccuracies or ommissions from listings could lead to an offer being withdrawn. 3. Making it as easy as possible to upload photos rather than just descriptions (direct from your phones camera for example). 4. We also have plans for a feedback system on dealers so you can take that in to consideration when comparing offers. I'm glad you like the concept though we hope it will appeal to those who find selling privately too much hard work or too risky. Chris.

Hi All, I've not posted much since i sold my 350z but I have been involved in creating a new website for selling your car to the trade (www.direct2dealers.co.uk) and as car enthusiasts I thought you might be interested. The website gives an alternative to selling via the current methods of the classifieds, trade-in or using a ‘cash for any car’ service. Here is why it is different to each; Classifieds – Rather than putting up a phone number and potential buyers getting in touch, when you use direct2dealers the deal is arranged entirely through the website. When you list your car you are asked for all the information car dealers require to value the car and they then make you offers based on this information. Once a deal is agreed you either drop off the car or they collect it. This means that once listed you don’t need to be available to take calls or viewing. Tonneau provisionally sold and I have two reserve buyers. If all fall through I will update this post. Chris. I have for sale a rare genuine Nissan vertical Tonneau which sits under the rear strut brace and divides off the boot. It is ideal to prevent people seeing in the boot and slightly reducing road noise. It comes with all the brackets although I had to use a shortened standard raw plug to attach to the underside of the strut brace, it kept it very firm though with no rattles. I will send everything I used so you can re-use or remake new ones as required. Mine was on 86k when i sold it and still on the original clutch and felt fine. There a good few stories of people getting over 100k out of them but other needing a new clutch after on 30k. Very difficult to predict so if it feels fine i wouldn't worry about, unless its been replaced recently whatever the mileage you carry the risk. Chris.

All, When I bought my car it came with a pair of spare cats from the previous owner. I did not have a need to change them and i have now sold the car. They have been dry stored and are in good condition although there are a few scuffs on the guards.
