  1. +1 black roof And normally wouldn't say this about a silver car but +1 for white wheels
  2. He got some really good air!! Looks like he was doing more than 100mph though.
  3. Hi Mate, Sorry I've only just seen this. We can wrap the wing mirrors but we would wrap round just inside the mirror casings lip so there could possibly be a small amount of paint showing round the mirror itself. We wrap round the edges of every panel we cover so that from the outside, you cannot seen any of the original colour. We will remove what we can from the car so that we can fit behind rubber seals etc but we are not mechanics and there are some area's that we will just have to cut round. Re your question about making it more glossy... The 3M vinyl we use was specifically created for wrapping cars so it's supposed to replicate paint work. It does have a very nice glossy finish but it will never have the same mirror shine that paintwork has. If you want a perfect colour change with that mirror shine and no original colour showing anywhere on the car, I advise that you have your car painted. Advantages - The ability to change your car's colour to pretty much any colour you want - The ability to have your car wrapped in full digitally printed imagery - Protect your cars paintwork from minor stone chips, scuffs and scratches. Increasing it's re-sale value. - If you decide you want to go back to your cars original colour, we can just remove the vinyl without the cost of another re-spray and you paintwork will be in the same condition it was in when you wrapped the car (could be 5yrs time!) Disadvantages - It will not have the same mirror finish as paint, but if you're using a speciality film like carbon then that doesn't matter anyway! - It will not be a complete colour change like a paint job. There may be a small areas where the original paint can still be seen (up close). Hope this all helps
  4. Sorry if this is a but I've just seen this on the MLR. I'm not a wreckless driver but it certianly makes you think! Even though some of them are actors it's still a very powerful video.
  5. OK, ok.. I've managed to stop laughing long enough to type and put this on here, sorry if it's a repost but I couldn't find anything in the search... Really need sound to fully appreciate how funny this is...
  6. I wouldn't recommend wrapping the bumper twice as the thicker the vinyl becomes, the less conformable it is. Basically when you conform vinyl into a recess, all it wants to do is return to it original shape/form. This is why we 'after heat' the vinyl so that it becomes more malleable and sort of gives it a new memory. It will aways have a slight tendency to want to return to it's original shape but providing the job is done properly, there will be enough glue behind the vinyl to stop it from popping out. Now add another layer of vinyl on top and it's trying twice as hard to pull away from the surface Stone chips have never really been much of a problem other than a few very rare cases. Our demo RS4 has done 40,000miles since we wrapped it and it has ONE stone chip (That took me quite a while to find!). A lot of companies have their van bonnets wrapped in the same colour as the paint just so that it keeps their re-sale value higher by not having loads of stone chips.
  7. Hi mate, Like most vinyl's, the vinyl's we use for wrapping are specifically designed and manufactured for fitting to painted surface but providing the suface of the bodykit is perfectly smooth and glossy, I see no reason why we couldn't wrap the parts un-painted. I've just spoken to our supplier to confirm this and they said the same. I would however recommend doing wrapping a small section first just to test it. As Jay said, when you come to sell the car, you can take the kit off, remove the wrap and sell it in perfect condition (providing you have had any bad encounters with nasty speed bumps!). Let me know if you have any more questions. K
  8. Or... take it off, wrap it in carbon, put it back on! That's what I'm gonna do anyway Nice work!
  9. Very sorry to hear of your loss What an incredible woman, you must be so proud of all she achieved in her life. Truely an inspiration to all. My thoughts are with you and your family

  14. +1 After watching the Senna piece last night it makes me wonder why I bother watching the current F1 season at all. I know that safety has to come first in these modern times but watching those clips of Senna, Mansell, Brundle etc last night just reminded me of how exciting F1 used to be when they were driving on the limit and every driver was driving to win! Also, as much as I think the modern technology in F1 cars is amazing, it's taken so much away from the sport. Even though I know the current F1 drivers are incredibly talented, you don't really get to see their talent as much as you would if they didn't have so many electronic and aerodynamic aids. I'd rather see slightly slower lap times if it means a more exciting race!
  15. What an awesome car! Put me down for... Motordyne 5/16th plenum Spacer (rrp £185) £130
  16. That's rediculous!! Why would you dump someone because of the car they drove? Especially if it's a nice car!! Maybe if the money's really tight and you're not willing to make sacrifices to save money? Other than that it doesn't make sense. My misses told me she'd leave me if I ever bought a motorbike... I put that theory to the test by buying a Yamaha R6 for my first bike. We're still together, we just don't talk about it She's just worried about me which is fair enough when it comes to bikes I spose.
  17. I was in stitches the first time I saw these! Still really funny!
  18. I've got a least another week to wait for mine then Can't wait to get some stuck on the bike!!
  19. I was exactly the same as you when I started doing martial arts, I just wanted to do something to keep fit that wasn't boring as hell like going to the gym. Now I'm completely hooked. I've been training for nearly 3yrs at the UK Kung Fu school. My instructor has a very mixed martial arts background training in Thai boxing, kickboxing, Tai Chi, Hsing-I, Ba Gua, Jeet Kune Do and Aikido. The style he teaches is Teh Ji Han Jeung Dao which is quite similar to the Bruce Lee style of Jeet Kune Do (JKD). It's a good all round form of martial arts and is very close to being MMA but still focuses on the traditional forms of movement to help progress in training. Last year I went to the Shaolin Temple and trained with Graduates from the Tagaou institute of martial arts for two weeks. It was an amazing experience and an absolute must for any martial arts enthusiast. I'm looking into going again next year!
  20. I've never really looked at my fuel consumption. I know that the day I bought it I made it back to Kent from Penzance with just under a 1/4 of a tank left so if I kept going I probably would have hit 400miles. All I know is its much better than the 15-20mpg out of the old Evo and waaaay better than the 7-12mpg out of my old single turbo RX-7!!!
