Know what you mean and if I was modding it more I would consider it but I really prefer a more OEM look. These are the biggest mod I'll be making.

Just a few quick pics of the G35 Rays I fitted tonight. Car is filthy and pics only taken on my phone but you get the idea. Will post some better ones once spacers are fitted and it's lowered next week.

Will do, got spacers and springs on the way too so will post some up once all fitted. There's a few pics of z's across the pond with them though.

I get an audible whine when the car is under load doing anything 70mph+ which can be a bit annoying on the motorway, come off the throttle and it stops. I've presumed it's transmission related but never been too concerned about it although I'm going to get the transmission fluid changed anyway.

I thought so, timing was spot on as got punctures on both rear tyres the weekend so needed new tyre's all round anyway. Paid less for these than the tyre's alone were going to cost. Thought about bidding and waiting for the auction finish to get them cheaper but couldnt really wait over a week and I'm happy with what I paid

Really? I'm not sure I understand. All the tyre size calculators suggested 225/40/19 and 245/40/19 would be almost spot on. What are they and I missing???

Been looking at maybe getting some new rims 19x8.0/19x8.5 and for tyres what are peoples opinions on going for 225/40/19 and 245/40/19? From what I see most people go with 35 profile on 19's but would there be any major issues with the 40? Will maybe lower in teins too. Comments appreciated.

Wouldn't they be illegal like that?, I thought wheels weren't supposed to protrude wider than the bodywork or have I just made that up in my head???

Offsets are 30 all round, maybe fitting spacers later. I just want to keep as close to standard as possible really.

Well the wheels will be a square setup 8.5 all round. As the oem six spoke wheels are also a square setup 8.0 all round but are fitted with wider tyres on the rear than the front I thought that would be the way to go, is that right?
