I get "unauthorised to read" message when I try to open the link

Link doesnt work for me, get "unauthorised to read" message. Why??? Really interested in the trim kits if I could just have a look see at em first.

I enquired a couple weeks ago as to how an aftermarket exhaust would affect my existing policy with Direct Line, they refused to continue to insure me if I had one fitted! I expected my premium may increase slightly but couldnt beleive it when they wouldnt insure me at all. I have no other mods, 7 yrs NCB and never had an accident or made a claim in my life, what have they got against me???

He told me today that he put a new induction kit in it the weekend and it sounds even better now, can hear the supercharger more at lower revs.

Anything happening with these yet? Might be interested for £300ish.

Couldnt say for sure as I dont know enough about them. It is left hand drive though but thats what he likes, even going as far as previously importing a Cooper S and Fiesta 1.6 both in lhd!

Its supercharged to about 500bhp I believe, side exit exhausts and dvd screens in all the seats ect. Ide give me left nutt for it but insurance is just crazy.

Can I come work for your family business? A few people have said that as he also has a brand new Repsol fireblade, but then he has had the sense not to get married or have kids!

A freind who works for my family business just bought this bad boy, sounds awsome but driving home in the zed I felt slightly less of a man. List of mods is huge and I cant remember half of them but insuring it is proving a nightmare for him. Sorry for poor pics, taken on phone.

Im after the gaskets for y pipe to mid section and mid section to backbox asap please.

Bet its the exhaust, I had exact same symptoms. The pipe off the back box has a flange at the end and the weld from the pipe to flange had sheered off completely. You couldnt see much of a gap only when you wiggled the back box around you could see its detached from the flange and was rattling around against it. As I said mine only made the rattling clanging noise in the exact same circumstances as you decsribed, cruising along or even on fairly bumpy roads it was quiet.

Shame, although I do have a Fabrication Shop so might be able to do something anyway. I dont dislike it but was thinking of replacing with a Z badge instead.

I took a policy out with Directline last July, 04 uk GT, I was 26, 6 yrs ncd, no points, 12000 miles and GF as named driver - £380 fully comp. Might be worth a try although they wont insure you if you have any performance upgrades now and there prices seem to fluctuate quite a bit. Edit, sorry just noticed you have a Japspeed exhaust, they class that as performance enhancing so probably no help to ya

Any idea if the Zunsport badge could be easily removed? How is it attached?

Does anyone have experience of removing the cubby door, heating controls and gauge pod from the centre console? I've looked through the guides for console removal and theyre very good but they stop short of detailing how to do this once the centre console is out, unless Ive missed something? Im thinking of getting the console flocked for which I think I would need all these removed. Thanks

I quite like these but there are pretty similar to the standard rays - aren't they. They are similar but they have a polished lip, I think I prefer them to Rays probably just because nobody else has them and they are a lot cheaper than a set of new Rays, i would guess about the same price as a used set.

How about some Dotz GTR? I've been looking at them as I wanted some cheap wheels in OEM size/fitment. The 18's are way inside your budget and as they are exact same fitment as your OEM 6 spokes you could use your existing tyres on them. True they arent going to fill the arches any more but if thats not important to you then it doesnt matter and you could always fit spacers at a later date if you wanted. The 19's have naff offsets I think so you would prob need spacers and new tyres which would put them over budget. Im sure there will be plenty who wouldnt consider them because of the brand and they wont meet everyones requirements when upgrading wheels but I think they're a nice looking wheel at a real budget price. Or as others have said; Used Rays or keep saving.

I'm interested in the 18's, Arent the stock wheels only 8" wide too? and un staggered? Im sure Ive seen cars on here with unstaggered setups and they looked fine, do most prefer staggered and or wider rears just for aesthetics or some other reason? Main concern is wether the 18s with ET30 offset would clear the calipers, guess the only way to find out is to buy some or wait for somone else to!

No prob, I think these GT-R are a new wheel and as such I've struggled to find many places selling them although to tell the truth I think I need a new exhaust now so the possibility of new wheels is rapidly dissapearing anyway.

Thanks guys, To tell the truth Im not really a fan of the Hanzos so I prob wont pursue that but I am interested in the GT'Rs, they seem to have the look of a Rota/Rays cross for not too much money. Just dont know about the quality and fitment.
