Ok i recently bought some spacers, the ones that go on the hub and have screws coming out of them. If you know what I mean . Now i dont know if i need bolts, nuts or what to fit the wheel. E.g. I need 20 nuts or bolts. Im not sure which ones I need. I know they are to be 19mm nissan ones but bolts or nuts? Also does anyone know a cheap place to get them as my local place who said bring them down wanted 2.50 each and £50 is alot of just bolts or nuts. Thanks

My current car is that loud. When your on a b road it can make your ears ring. That came across wrong. Basically my current car is loud but only above 3krpm. I dont have any neighbors either. I dont know how loud it is as someones idea of loud is different to someone elses. E.g. Some people think the bose is loud but my sound system was about 2krms and i think that is loud. If anyone lives near me and I would be willing to travel and pay petrol money to hear a k1.

Thanks, i 'assumed' it would be, be we know how dangerous assumptions can be! I did some heat testing earlier on a small piece and its damned good stuff. Even when on a naked flame it won't burn. Going to get the ends made up at work and fit it Thanks all are you just going to use ring terminals? Get some pics up when finished.

Im sure it should be okay as some stuff doesnt even melt with a lighter! But if you wanted to be safe im sure you could wrap some heat wrap around it?

ok does someone have a k1 with a decat i can hear as I think it will be loud but not silly loud. Also the ecv would give you torque round town and top end on track or b road.

What engine was in that? Its the 2.0 RS F4R 172ps engine. Its non turbo. All engines are different e.g. some gain and some dont. Most will gain with a remap though. Its like running hot cams. You will probably lose power unless your car is mapped for it.

c'mon Steve, don't be a lazy a---e! It 's car up the stands, 8 bolts each way, disconnect and reconnect the sensors, car down and only once a year I will do it for extra ponies anytime and save more good change for other mods. The evo/ scooby/RB crowd are at it so why not High flow cats will likely net you just as much as decats but save the hassle. If you have an FI Zed, sure decat it, but unless you are FI there isnt much point for the hassle. On other cars there is a big gain, IMO as someone said if you have them fitted and mapped for a decat im pretty sure you will gain. I gained a fair bit in my clio and my mpg went up too!

Now i think most of you know the setup I want, Manifold, Y pipe, decat and k1. Its gonna be silly loud but i was thinking about getting a ecv. I have serched about no one really has one and everyone is like this or like that no real answers. They do work as i have seen them on youtube. I was thinking for it to be closed round town quieter, more resistance so more torque. Then open it up in remote places daytime etc. Sound like a plan. Any cons? Anyone running one? Thanks

Will this plenum affect the grounding kit? Nope, because the bolt goes through to the lower collector so earth connection is still there. Cheers mate

Cant hear it at work, but if its a Nismo and intake/plenum spacer, they all sound very similar and I love my Nismo The place I most appreciated it was at the airfield day I did it when the missus went flat out off the line with me standing beside the car, sounds sooooo nice! Your misses is awesome.

I might just get some from nissan then. I ordered some diff oil though and silkolene.
