Couldn't drop the windows for a week or clean them. No problem, thats what aircon and heaters are for. Only clean the insides now with a soft cloth and a drop of detergent.

Hi, Haven't read all these posts, but Mines done back and sides. The trick is to fade to lighter tint as you come forward to the driver and passenger windows. Make sure these guys know what they're doing. Cos if its wrong it'll look crap and if its too dark plod will be all over you. About £170 is what I paid. They removed the door glass to do it too. Top job. Take a look.

Hi, None of the above. Worked my way to it. 1st bought 2nd hand 200SX, Then. Test drove Z Couldn't afford Z, So bought new Type R, Then. Test drove Z Couldn't afford Z, Got great deal on new RX8 PZ. Never felt same as test drives in Z, So. Finally bought the last of the new 350's. In answer to the question. It's the way it makes you feel when you turn that key. Nothing like it. (Oh Yeh).

Hi All, Here's the update. Collected car from bodyshop after finding out the front lip was for the pre-facelift. Gaz from Envy's been great. he's waiting for right one to come in and doing a collect and exchange then. So shortly he'll have a pre facelift Varis lip which looks really great and is top quality back in stopck and I'll have the right 1 for my Z. Untill then all the rest if the bits are in primer and I get to keep my Z with me for a bit. Missed it though.

Anxiety sets in. The Z has gone to the bodyshop for the kit fitting. Days of nail biting and worry with it out of my sight. My Tempur/Drift pearl orange car is in for an N1 rear spoiler (EPR), N1 sides (Mad Motors), Varis front lip (Envy) and Rear carbon diffuser (TheZstore.Com in the US) The worry and agonising. Will the fit be good, will the paint match and finish be right (Pearl hard to do). Body shop recommended, but still worried. Asked them to take photos. So I’ll update as soon as I can. Cant wait to get it back.

Wibble Sorry mate. I dont, but a good audio installer will be able to work out the box inside volume required and the its just a matter of making it that big in a shape that fits. (If that makes sense). If you look at the space you have and the floor shape, that will put you on your way. Sorry can't be more help.

They look great m8, Did mine in orange to match the car. Mine are a bit more subdued in the flesh that the pic shows. Had to do a very slow shutter speed on the camera to get them right without flash for the pic. Technical I know. The Z badges look good too.

Well you get the general idea. When I said stealth, What I should have said is that I didn't want my brand new interior chopped to bits and all the space used for amps and subs.(Smart arse).lol The amps are in that bulkhead as well and the autochanger is in the passenger glovebox. Oh and as for the fuel pump, Didn't know it was there, but as they say "If it went in, it'll come back out" (If it needs to anyway). As for the box it is an odd shape, kind of stepped at the back so it sits nice. And before any smart arses say anything i said "Stepped" not "Steps" not my kind of music.

Hi, I recently had a full install done on mine and the idea was stealth. I need the limited storage we have. I had a custom box made to fit in the original sub space. (tricky calculations for the shop) I have an Alpine 10" Type R sub which move about 15 times more air than the woolly Bose sub that was in. They took out the metal mounting plates made the box to sit on the floor. Sounds great. Above all else the order of the day should be Dynamat, dynamat, dynamat or it'll vibrate and shake the interior to bits. Hope these pics help a bit. (not much to see sorry)

It doesn't matter what you do to protect your Z some pill@(k will alway come along and threaten its fine finish. Asda yesterday P.M. row of 10 empty spaces parked in the middle one, farest away from store, Came back 10 min later and as if by magic, on 1 side a Rover 25 mg of all things and on the other a rusted out rolling sh@t box white van man. They do it on purpose. (Cocks).

Hi Let my Z out of my sight for a few days while Ice installed. When it came back just glanced over it and all seemed well,till I came to give it a wash a couple of days later. Wheel scuff on near side. Deffo not done by me. Rang the installer and they denied all knowledge of it. Gits. wont use them again. Car 4 months old then. Called a local guy in who sorted it, a bit like chips away or a company like that. I'm oop in the north, but I'm sure there will be a firm local to you. £35 quid job done. Cant tell where it was now Hope this helps

Go with it. It looks good, its rare and stays clean. Every time the light conditions change so will the colour. Although if you want to spend all your time with your Z and upset your girlfriend, buy a Black 1. You can wash it, go indoors and then come out 10 minutes later and wash it again cos it looks mucky. Bin there done that . If you like it, great, who cares what others think. A Z is a coat of many colours. As a bonus, it even looks good in the dark

Weather report... A BlizZard occured in Castleford yesterday, but only on my Z. Thought I'd put some pics in after using my foam lance for the second time. It's just so much fun to use as well as being effective.
