my dad done his. We have a sander for it and he done 22" 4x4 wheels in a weekend and they looked great. The paint peeled after 2 years with the power from the pressure washer at one small bit. I was just wanting to check before I go with what he knows.

I had a cooper s works. It was a fun car. Gearbox got changed at 12k miles and again at 32k under warranty. Tyres are very expensive without runflat insurance policy. Powersteering pump went on fire twice. Then i crashed it sideways through a pole at around 50mph and it came back but was never the same so sold it for the zed.

The uprev will totally transform the car. It will feel so much different Was it your car I seen on youtube with the k1 video with the girl speaking at the start saying go ? If it was then it was the video that sealed the deal on me buying a k1

Hi guys, just about to start stripping the oem 18" rays to start prepping for painting. I need some info for what grade of sand paper to use to sand the oem paint of the wheels. What grades would be used in intermediate stages also ? I will update this thread with all the processes and stages. If anyone would recommend a type of paint which would be suitable to withstand the heat or I will just use basic spray can paint from halfrauds or a local paint shop. These are track wheels so not too bothered about spending that much money on them tbh. Cheers Neil

good vid. Didnt know your car was tiptronic. Are you coasting through the corners? It looks like where you spin off was because you werent putting any power down? I would find it very hard to use the tiptronic on track as i like my gearbox getting used to slow me down aswell. I would lose alot of control over the gearchanging with tiptronic as i wouldnt remember which gear i was in.

i drowned out 10 350z's with my k1 in the clyde tunnel lol

the circuit was 2.5miles long and my record was 14 laps in one run before cooling down. Brakes coped perfect even in 25degree heat

cheers mate its not those i'm changing the colour on, those are for show. Its the 18" rays for track so thats why theyre being bastardised

i actually do like that red i wonder what the standard rays would look like with it. Any more colour options throw them up I have photoshop but havent the slightest clue how to work it

r34 gtr ftw. Its my dream to own one but soooo expensive for a decent example Yeah, I'll be happy with an average example tbh. Its gonna get modded either way so not too bothered about it being pristine just yet Aslong as its mechanically fine I'll be happy - The RB motor scares me a bit haha its supposed to be a bit of a beast. Theres a couple of rb motors for sale online, had a look at maybe dropping one into the zed as i cant afford to twin turbo it yet and cant afford a v8 The guy i spoke to at apex motorsport told me to avoid the rb wait till i have a spare 10k to drop in a v8 .. The rb sounds amazing. One of my favourite sounding cars. Theres an r34 gtr around here and its beautiful. Its a very deep purple colour and sounds outstanding. You'll never beat the sound of the turbo's chewing up the air

Im about to paint my oem rays (not the lmgt4's on the car) But having an issue with the colouring. What do you guys think? Any Photoshops are welcome This is car in its current guise. Dont have a pic of the rays on it though. Cheers Neil
