  1. Neilp Imbalance? Definition of IMBALANCE : lack of balance : the state of being out of equilibrium or out of proportion Haha....unlucky Rothers.....I think I know where you were coming from, I thought it was inbalance too but Neil's superior command of English has owned you!
  2. Yeah it won't happen because the moderating staff and admin wont let it. Exactly why I posted this thread I would have done it previously, especially when I had zeds, even put my name forward for it, but I assume as I'm not a "yes man" they didn't see fit for it to happen even though I know the cars, the site and have plenty of free time on my hands which is something the mods claim to have a lack of. My thinking also
  3. I organise alot of meets up here as I know Jason and Vik have very hard jobs and jason ends up all over the world. I try and help out alot to try and keep stuff going as I know doing the organising full time just isn't feasible sometimes. Its not just about that Its about keeping the place interesting and getting more people involved in doing stuff. If people were electing for a month to organise that months meets in advanced so theres a full calander planned etc as 1 person may not have the time to do this.

  6. That wasnt the thinking behind this. I just think that theres plenty of members out there who would like the chance to be a mod, be a meet organiser etc that won't get the chance. I think the team do a fantastic job but I'm young and I think change is good and people should have a say in the team and elect themselves to be part of it.
  7. Lol Rothers did you miss all the first page?
  8. I know one ex-Mod who hadn't met anyone when he was handed a Modship Not really sure that matters a lot mate if I'm honest, as all moderating is done on the interweb where it doesn't matter where you are Lol i have this opinion when I got into trouble and felt that I had nobody local to talk to about it and I felt opinions towards me were biased. I also felt at shows we lacks banners etc and also the forum support as we were a minority on here. This issue at the shows did get sorted though which was good. I just think a change would be good and allow the people to select the moderating staff. I think its a fair approach also the same as we do in real life with politicians.

    Air bag light

Have the damaged sensors been replace etc? Once the airbag has been deployed do the new airbags not need recoded in. I'm sure thats what happened with my mini when I set the bags off in that
  10. Hahahahahaha Dave that is amazing!!!
  11. lmao unfortunately admins get to keep their job as they are the bosses of bosses
  12. We could possibly give members a month each if they wish and allow them to do the organisation for that month. I am in no way criticizing any member of the team. I think everyone does a splendid job but sometimes a fresh approach can make a big difference to the club. I think the moderation staff have all been handed it through friends on the forum etc but I think people sometimes do not agree sometimes and dont say anything. Some moderators react different to different things and some have made this not such a great place to be sometimes. I just think the members should have a say in the way the forum runs.
  13. hahahahahaha I just think that sometimes the way the forum runs could do with a little change. Right now its all shakey shakey hand shakes and ball touching and the likes( just kidding ) but there is a massive imbalance between scottish and english and welsh moderators etc. I think change is good and could bring fresh ideas and approaches to the forum

    Test drives...

Hmm exactly I am not a good passenger and watching someone drive my car is like watching someone fiddling with my wife Mike Somebody's got to do it
  15. Is it possible to have a democratic forum where the forum members get to vote for the moderating team and meet organisers, say, every year or 6 months. People could put forward themselves, present a campaign and allow the people to vote. Obviously the moderating team look out for each other so the election could change half the team every six months this allowing the current running team to show the new moderators how to work and run things. I know people will disagree but if you are a good moderator or meet organiser then you have nothing to be worried about as the people will keep you in position. Just a thought..
  16. Look mate, the problem people have is to do with the attitude you had at the start and then you came on today saying you'll know better than to ask for help, or something along those lines. You obviously don't know who zmanalex is on here and how spot on his advice and parts are. He knows more about these cars than almost anybody else I can think off. Remeber that the parts you ordered will be subject to vat duty and carriage charges so it will come to more than 240 quid and you will have to wait until they clear customs. Yes I didn't read your post fully as to be honest I wasn't that bothered about it but thought I'd pass comment anyways. Did you check if the control arms from a LHD car will fit a RHD car also? Are the parts brand new? I learned the hard way and bought stuff from the states as I thought I was saving money... In the end I didn't, to cut a long story short. It was the attitude you came across with at the start that it peoples backs up. We're a pretty forgiving bunch though.
  17. Hahahahahaha hahahahahahaha ROFL
  18. This thread also makes me want to blow my brains out... Why would you add a performance mod and expect the car not to use more fuel. Best idea for people is to keep the 150 quid and fill the tank with it if you are worried about mpg.
  19. So what you actually done was... Insist it wasn't the ball joints.... Eventually took the advice (after stating nobody helped you when they did and you're not gonna ask for help again) Bought parts from America after being advise by members/owners with +6 year experience on these matters who advised to get the oem parts. Make sense to me
  20. Lol +1 jay! People offered solutions, nobody knocked you down but you were always right no matter what people say... I'm guessing you bought after market arms... Well guess what if they dont fit etc you will have massive issues with warrantys and sending them back. If you ordered from Alex you always get the zmanalex guarantee which means a no hassle warranty and he is always there to try and support you of anything does go wrong. To be honest the only person putting you down was yourself... We see this alot here... Anyways.. Goodluck

    Test drives...

I was 22 and chucked the keys of the 370z when mines was in for a service.
  22. Recharging the system won't stop the smell. The smell is bacteria laying on the coil and in the drains an ducts. Don't use the a/c cleaning aerosols as they make a massive mess of the inside of your car and don't work. Make sure you use a decent one if you do.
  23. Welcome mate It's bought not brought btw sorry for being pedantic but it's a common error on here and for some bizarre reason it annoys me alot lol Congrats on the purchase... Shame about the weather at the moment
