  1. How wide are your tyres, this has a big affect on tramlining good article here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/ ... ?techid=47
  2. agreed, just work out your current consumption, if its low then you might not need a full blown PSU and could get away with a nice neat voltage regulator in a little box with a heatsink. I'd want it without a cubby lid, if it looks OEM that would be great
  3. check here, this looks like its going to be a fantastic system!! viewtopic.php?f=9&t=47410
  4. Please buy some axle stands, they only cost a few pennies Using a scissor jack to support a car while under it is really dangerous. I'd let them soak with penetrating oil or some such as suggested. If you round them off then its a long slog to remove them or you're paying someone. Be sure you have your socket all the way on so there is less chance of rounding and use a nice length breaker bar so you don't trash a ratchet
  5. Of course he has - she's been ironing my gimp suit this afternoon. dude, this is just f***ing wrong you have stuck the tail ON your ass
  6. rear or front? rear are very simple (depending on rusting), jack the back of the car up and you can see them. only 4 bolts to do.
  7. was that the one strapped to your forehead recording the barmaids? it seemed inconspicuous, I only noticed it after you pointed out your cunning plan.
  8. which one has the pictures of the bar maid that you secretly took? you don't want to be losing them.

  10. problem, infected. solution, system restore. suspected root cause, vast quantities of porn.
  11. should I be going? am i missing out then, if there were promises of banter I may be persuaded.
  12. I can fill in, i have previous experience on my CV
  13. ahh, after the joy of the car spitting a litre of oil out in the space of 30 seconds it was a litre short, i have a service next weekend so like hell im putting nice stuff in to top it up that and some jublee clip thins to replace the evil OEM pipe clips.. and some cable ties... and some swarfega... when you have a trade card kicking about you may aswel fill your pockets
  14. blade. saw you reversing back for a people carrier, you looked annoyed lol
  15. id rather fork out the extra 100 for a good unit over a cheap one
  16. One of the really important things for me with the system is that it has a good screen, if its a cheap chinese screen that is useless in the sun I wouldn't buy it. If i could have android on the screen the same as my phone I would be a happy man. I know how to use it already, its nice, clean and useable. Can i connect my HTC to it to utilise the internet connection on the phone allowing it interweb access? My list of top four essential things I want as a customer -Good screen that i can see in the sun, has multitouch and looks high quality (think ipad) also fits like it was an OEM unit -The system is reliable, cant be crashing all the time -system is fast, reacts to touch input in good time and processes map routes etc quickly (think tom tom) -It is easy to use, i dont want to faff about a million menus while driving (again think tom tom) Bonuses i'd like -connectivity to internet -cool looking nav software -Plays movies and music -turns on when the car is turned on (can be changed in a menu)
  17. well it seems clear all the cool kids are over on the xbox, you can sit and play alone in the corner with your black shiny monolith
  18. I may have a spare one, i will have a look when i get home
