I did a new prototype the other day, put a fair few hours into them and they are pretty awesome compared to the old way I was doing it. I did them with a bunch of cheap chinese LED's for the prototypes just to test the theory out and it worked well, until the cheap LED's died (that's why you dont use cheap chinese LED's).
I will try and get another spare day and put a few quid aside for the good quality LED's to do it with, it's just a case of finding the time at the moment as this is a project as opposed to a customer order so i can't really prioritise it.
well better safe putting the petrol resistant stuff on than get oil etc on it and have to redo it all no? i don't know, i never got round to coating it so cant say what works best im afraid.
Dude why haven't you?!?! Its 8 bolts man!
Was the lacquering a biatch or did it go ok?
Also people need to comment on the Dremel replacement..........providing it doesn't get too much hammer I guess it does the same job?
Rothers that looks depressingly awesome!
i didnt laquer as i hadnt quite finished, then I moved house (when am i not) and it rusted slightly meaning i have to start from scratch again. :/
The dealers will rob you if you take it there tbh.
Potentially it could be CV joints wearing although this tends to manifest itself as a click click click rather than a distinct clunk on the change of inertia.
apologies i was using my phone to reply. The ARB drop links can be replaced by you if you feel handy or its a quick job for a garage to do and may save you the hassle if the nuts are rusted
you can source new ones from nissan themselves or ZMANALEX or R35LEE can supply them (probably cheaper) for you so worth firing them a PM
The ARB drop links are either side at the rear of the car. they connect the anti roll bar to the suspension. the bar itself runs from one side, round the exhaust, round the diff and then connects to the other side. it is a black bar just under an inch in diameter which should be clearly visible if you stick your head under the back (maybe jack the car up to see).
its not a costly repair if thats what it is.
hope that helps.
Yes, latched on to me you were. You brought back that drink from the bar, there you handed me a little man you had made out of the umbrella, a little twig-man. I 'm going to call you half-squat, and you can call me... papa
