one of the guys at work wwnt round benchamrking competitor vehicles sound systems to study the ability to reproduce sound clearly and the different characteristics of the systems. i asked him about bose systems in general before i bought the Zed. he said that the bose systems are good up untill the bass, where they only reproduce a small portion of the bass compared to others meaning they have a thudding quality for beats.. dont know if that makes sense?

so the weekend is ended and i have succeded in wash/claying the car and it looks loverly. took some pics, i may hunt down the sd card reader to put them up. also got the door leds and AC control led's changed. rain stopped me doing more unfortunately so still have to change the drop links and spark plugs and oil. im paranoid i'll do something wrong as the mechanical bit is not my area so i think subconciously im putting it off. anyone fancy giving me a hand with it To quote my mate " you need a hand changing spark plugs!! what kind of engineer are you!!"

What you do is buy some rope, thread it through the passenger door and the drivers and round the roof, tie it off and lash the child seat to it and hey presto practical Zed! im no family man but as far as i can see its a win win! you cant hear them moaning and they get the fresh air they need! Well i had no use of the left wingmirror... or rear view mirror... or back window... or left side windows. so it was all a bit of a gamble on the m6 tbh. it was pass someone.. "one elephant, two elephant" and so on then pull back in and cringe waiting for the crunch, i considered counting mississippily but disregarded that for elephants. good to meet you too. oh and a TW*T in a corsa hammered the brakes infront of me so, instead of braking, i utilised the slip lane to said tw*ts left to slow down and avoid inevitable accident. all because he thought police were on the bridge

Exactly! i was using the screwdirver to gentley hold them down if they wouldnt slide in, also there is gell all over the plasce to help the dial contacts slide freely, i used this to "stick" the screwdriver tip to the smd led's to move them about worked very well.

yup thats how i was doing it, just using a tiny tiny screwdriver to slide it, problem with the blue one i fluffed up is there isnt as much room to slide it from you have to kinda drop it down which means youve got to get the soldering iron out the way quickly enough. thing is you dont know if its good til youve got it connected to the car. my neighbors must have been questioning my sanity

ive done that way to much i purposely use cruise control because i dont trust it to go into missile mode! the best way i found to get a feel for it is if you read out the numbers (to your passenger) as you go ie 10 20 30 40 50, tbh though you'l struggle to get the first few out your mouth in time when i did it i had to say, 20, 50, 60, 70 my passenger leant over to check in disbelief
