Glad im not the only one that failed miserably is there some sort of technique to it? as i just seem to get faster each time its much easier to learn from a higher speed imo under more braking as it smooths it more. like an empty motorway slip lane with plenty of room to recover, 70-0. best way to start is begin braking having your foot positioned how you will have it, dont touch the throttle at this point. do this till your comfy braking with your foot at this funny angle. now with the car stationary with the engine running press the brake and pactice using the throttle, pick a number of revs and try to get it while holding the brake then try mving about the revs to get a feel for it so its familiar. holding the brake as you do this. now go onto the road and give it a go. plenty of room required to be safe with noone about, track would be ideal. put the two motions together, at first you will find you give it to much and it lurches or too little. tis all about practice thats how i was tought.

in the spirit of peoples innability to drive in multistories. me and my mate we standing chatting outside the gym on monday when we heard an almighty crunch. a woman had put her focus in 1st instead of reverse to get out a bay and just lauchned into the barrier infront. needless to say we were laughing and pointing at her.

had two dalmatians in the past and they decided to chew through a fire door to get out of the kitchen. they started at the bottom, we put lemon on it, vinegar, viks, salt, detterent, even a very thin coating of bleach next to where they chewed. did nothing. got in one day and one welcomed us with a head coming out from under the kitchen door. a foot tall, thick brass plate soon stopped them though. they were teething though and soon grew out of it. if its not teething i would say its boredom, possibly left alone too long and wants to get out to get to the rest of the pack. try leaving a radio on or something to keep doggie company during the day. a cage during the day will prevent your house being destroyed but i doubt it would make the dog feel any better, at night a cage should be fine as long as its comfortably big enough lesson really, dont leave anything in range. those dalmations also managed to eat an entire sack of potatoes in an hour cos it was in reach.
