  2. I don't think it's offensive, just true If you get a sports car, don't cut corners if you play with it What your saying is.. If your playing with fire wear oven gloves. On a serious note though! guys why are you thinking its your brake pads when its highly more likely to be your ARB drop links nutters
  3. i took mine out and replaced it with a first aid kit, warning triangle, jumper leads, fire extingusher etc etc etc all the goodies i find it quite funny now though that i will have all of this but wont be able to get home with a flat i might find some time this weekend to shoe horn all of it in with the spare included. somethign worth noting is that the spare holds your boot floor up, withough it it all caves in when you put a back of heavy stuff in it. like a punch bag,
  4. just have to ask. are you in the US? otherwise you may struggle with this?
  5. i swithered over phones for months untill i took the plunge and got a desire. great bit of kit, really chuffed with it and glad i got it
  6. so the service manual says power it through pin 8 and 11 which on yours is red and light blue. but my gut tells me it would be the larger guage wires mate hence im not happy with it and the fact the colours are wrong. nissan are @*!# with wiring in the zed im afraid, they vary from the standard constantly and get the wires back to front frequently as you know mate like i say best way to be sure is to power from the back of the motor or at least look in to see what colour wires.
  7. best way to be sure is check the wire colour going into the back of the motor mate. infact i'd jump it on the back of the motor if you could.
  8. cos what i have from the pre 06 service manual is this, which doesnt seem to match up to the wiring colours there.
  9. yes you should be able to directly jump the motor with 12v battery as its a 12v motor. but disconnect it from anything else as you dont want to throw 12v down random parts of the harness. Also as there will be no stop or fuse you need to make sure you are very careful not to burn out either the harness or motor. good luck
  10. you soooo know hes a physics teacher!
