  6. shields is my surname, hence been called shieldsie since I can remember. I had another nickname also RINGER , which isnt suitable for a car forum site. Dont get the wrong idea. I wasnt involved in car ringing.

  8. If I was to right what I think, I`d be banned from this site for life I trully know after been set up good style a year ago. I wont say anything else has Im chilling out at mo so I can enjoy my night out. Dont want blood boiling now
  9. BT2 with LRC100 Jammers wont help you with fixed camera if you are speeding. They jam mobile devices, like the vans and police sat at road side with speed camera` etc. THe jammer absorbs the camera rays for a set amount of time, thus not allowing the rays to bounce back and give a speed reading. The jammer can be set at anything between 5 seconds and 45 seconds (I think). Depends how long it takes you to slow down and how suspect you want to be to the copper trying to catch you........ This is only what I`ve heard and read, I dont have one....... Honest.........
  10. Operations manager in manufacturing / retail, for 1 of the big 4 supermarkets. I`ll give you a clue, the main man is leaving to go run M&S

  14. Exactly the case at Laguna last year, if you watched it. Rossi finished second and even he said he had never riden so crazy in his life. Entertainment value was fantastic, especially over the cork screw section. I cant explain how bending and steep that is Rossi can he missed the first bend into it and came down the grass banking which is like a cliff side
  15. I have been a fan of F1 for some time now and attended a few. Silverstone 3 times, the italian and US. For a change last year I did the Moto GP USA at Laguna Seca AWESOME weekend. The F1 has become boring.
  16. When I had my bumper, skirts and spoiler painted in Blade the bodyshop I used said they'd need my car to match the colour accurately as there were "various shades of Nissan KYO paint around". Much better to get them to match it to your car rather than to a swatch chart. Once they've mixed a batch up and tested it they can keep that as reference for any future work on your car. I had same explained to me. At least 5 different shades of Blade. Good workshops mix their own to match the car, has explained by Lincolnbaggie
  17. Taking loads of protein is a waste of time. Your body can only obsorb so much the rest is like beer, pi**ed on the wall. The most important time to take protein is straight after your workout, or within 20 mins of finishing after that your body will take less. I also found protein and creatine mix together 30 mins prior to workout worked for me, and dont forget the aminos, these are the building blocks. We are all different in many ways,size/build/metabolism etc, hence the way we do things is different. Read your body, thats the way. What you see is what you are. If you see a change for the better then its working. Regarding the people stating hours of training then I totally disagree. Dont get me wrong I think all fall foul of more is better, its not true. Your workouts should be approx 40 minutes long, period. Please remember the big difference between body building and body muscle training. one you`ll end up competing for Mr Universe, the other you`ll be looking more than the average dude in the night club.

  20. Very frustating mate, but rather wait than risk the zed. Its been my pride and joy and treasured posession for 6 years almost. Been using my Fathers new Qashqai, which is great in this weather.
  21. I collected it 2 days ago The problem is the zes has been abandoned at work for 6 days now and not looking like its coming home soon Has soon has its driveable safely then the exhaust will be on. Hopefully next week. Cant wait, but no real choice at mo.
  22. Here you go Nixy. This is me in my glory. A lot of good things said here. Basics are,1st - you are what you eat 2nd resting / sleeping is very important. The importance in your training is strictness and no 3 red lighting. Only train 1 muscle group weekly (excluding abs, which can be every 2nd day). no need for more has they get workouts has secondary muscle groups during your other training. Has for legs, it is important that the whole body is trained. I read an article a few years a go regarding a study on training legs. The guy trained legs only for a given period and his biceps grew 2 inches!! Squats is probably the most single exercise that will strengthen the whole muscle groups. Supplements are also important due to the busy lives we lead, its difficult to get all you need from eating unless you are eating 6 meals a day (like some of my friends)
