Cool stuff, That a DSP amp ? I nevr sure whether to set to DTS or just leave on direct. Nerd in shop says direct..... Onkyo DSP M&K 6.2 speakers set up 43" Pioneer plasma. About 5 yr old now..... Looking at 3D, but spent all my money on my Zed PS3 Wii -never turn the thing on. Sky HD Love it Give it some welly during the matrix - Zion attack - and feel the earth move. Currently and endlessly playing Battlefield 2 online. Best game ever.

Agree about the WII. It was aimed at family/kids where the PS3 is more a GAMER machine. I love it. and it's a blu ray player, the latest update has turned it into a 3d blu ray too..... I have bought the strategy game - Hoax of Bluff or somesuch. It's poo. Although I have only played it once so far..... Did the downloads of various demos. I know what you mean about the Table tennis, check that spin !! The zit in the shop promised 'loooaaadsa games before christmas dude' for which I almost slapped him. Still, interested to see what coming out though I lurve my home cinema set up. What have you got ?? New Topic ? Old one ?

I have detected the burning smell too. It is only when giving it a good spanking. I brought this up with the dealer and his chief spanner man said there is a gearbox rad/cooling mech of some kind - first I have heard of such a thing - and the smell would be from that. Odd. Still, warranty will be my safety net there. Will see what happens.

Well 5 hours of buffing have got me a fabbo shine. I used the meguiars 3 step stuff but in my local H*lf*ds they didn have the step 3 so bought the gold class stuff instead. Excellent shine and very happy. So now a question on car wash shampoo, I guess that I dont use a wash n wax combo ? To me that would be putting a cheapo wax over the decent stuff I just applied. Or would it make no difference? How long should I leave it before repeating the 3 step treatment again ? I guess that I could just wash it as 'normal' - is this where a speed detail spray is used ??? I will get a photo and post later of current efforts

I think a track based tuition would be best. Would be good if it cost a bit less than the £100's / day quotes I'm seeing so thought of the group thing. Next trick will be where, as we are quite spread out.

Do I feel a group booking in the wind ? You know what I mean

I have just bought a 350z. It's my sportiest car ever. I have had a few that had promise but I feel this is the real deal. 300 horses and rear wheel drive and all that. IT's why I bought it ! The best toy ever..... I have ridden fast bikes for years but that hardly transposes here. Instead of relying on years of bad habits and bravery, I am looking to get the best out of my car by learning how to actually drive. Has anyone tried an advanced performance course. Where ? What did you think ? Would you recommend anyone ?

Bass is my thing. Got a band too, although not allowed outside of practice rooms yet...... It's cool. After a few days of work, wed nights allow a huge pressure release I play a Warwick Streamer custom. s'nice

With the meguiars list, what types do you mean ? There seem to be loads out there. Super gold cold spiffo etc What shampoo then paint cleaner etc ??? How do these detailing angle grinders work ? Continous rotation or orbital ? Is it quicker, as much as you suggest ? Thanks for the patience on all the questions, much appreciated

WOW rothers, that is stunning ! I absolutly love my new Z. I know bog all about detailing. I usually some local polish chaps to polish the car - Honda Civic, gone now- and had a spot of luncheon with darling wife. But all that must change to get the Z supery dupery :-) BLimey that supernatural has a super price too.... I might go for the meguires list as detailed above......unless there are further votes ?
-
is Black hole polish the stuff by poorboys ? Having trouble finding supernatural was(h) though....
-
thanks guys. I'm off to find some now. Any other hints ? The detailing posts are startling in thier detail and am not quite sure where to start. The Queens English ? I believe her to be a bounteous progenitor of the house of Hanover

Should black be treated any differently ? It may be a stupid question but standing in H*lf*rds staring like a eeedjut at the stuff on the shelves there was a super duper black paint cleaning kit for about 4 million quid. Any thoughts ?? I bought bugger all and ran for it.......

so hard to say which was best...... swimming with dolphins, getting the perfect shot of a sperm whale fluking, standing on the top of mount cook, jet boating, the endless endless out of this world scenery.......... it was a very cool holiday. Hired a camper and turned left out of the hire centre and kept going until it was on the left again a coupla thousand miles later...... didnt make it north though. Shame as I wanted to see more maori stuff. Cool dudes :-) -
