    2013 370Z

I can bearly see the difference.
  2. My breakdown cover was extended when a main dealer did its first annual service - did yours not??? Sorry, can't help with your problem at such though.

  4. Just caught up with this thread, what a price, I can't beleive how much you can get a virtually brand spanker for these days - crazy - what a lot of car for the money. I mean, I got my car for a steal, but you've done brilliantly. Oh, best colour by the way . The 370 is a huge step up form the 350 and a real pleasure to own - even if you only have 12 months with her; what a 12 months.
  5. Must say, though I'm not in a position to buy, yours looks an excellent example. Lovely. GLWS .

    Lack of grip...

Has anyone actually got a set of winters for their 370Z?? I couldn't locate the right sizes (think it was the profile of the rears that was out).

    Lack of grip...

If mine can get off the driveway it'll be in action in all weathers .

    Lack of grip...

Good input. Interesting to hear similar grip with the Falkens (I'm used to Falkens replacing RFT on my Beemers where of course it was comfort I was after as well as handling). Absolutely, I was already aware of course that physics will always struggle to keep >300bhp RWD planted to the tarmac, even in dry conditions it's sometimes a challenge, so guess I just have to tame myself (but then again it's quite good fun ).

    Lack of grip...

Anyone else noticing that the standard Bridgestones are horrendous in this damp weather??? I'm having real problems putting any power down without spinning up the rear. I'm on about 50% tread at the minute which surely shouldn't be causing too many issues yet. I had a chat with a local tyre fitter who commented on the Bridgestones compound being quite hard so will struggle for grip in these cold/damp conditions. I've looked at winter tyre options but firstly can't get the exact same rear fitment plus secondly the nearest fit costs a fortune. I toyed with getting a new set of Falkens on, just to give me maximum tread through winter, but could do without shelling out £400-500 this close to Christmas . I could always slow down .
  10. Why do you think I'm taking advange of some free exposure on here . No point in spending £60 with AutoTrader and £100 to take me plate off when I'm fairly confident it won't sell. Just thought it's more likely someone is casually shopping here (perhaps thinking about jumping from a 350 to 370) than anywhere else so might get a nibble. As eagle-eyed Mega (my psycho-internet-stalker ) has spotted my wifes X3 is also for sale. I'm more keen to sell that than mine as that's where the majority of my 'car budget' is going each month .
  11. Knew you'd spot this Dave!!! Shirt off my back next
  12. I remember you buying yours, you beat me to the post by a matter of minutes. I know it's 'traditionally' completely the wrong time of year to sell a Roadster however I sold my old 350Z Roadster in a November if I remember correctly so it does happen. To be honest, I'm perfectly happy to keep it, but if such a buyer just happened to be on the look out, then I'm all ears.
  13. Ha ha, quite correct, written with a full blown head-cold, not concentrating enough .
  14. Just a feeler really as it's not the greatest time to be selling a Roadster but, you never know, someone might just be on the lookout for a well cared for example. If the price is right I could be persuaded to part with it (reluctantly). Manual '60' plate 370Z Roadster, GT pack, with Stillen exhaust fitted (but can remove if not wanted). I have the original exhaust too that I'd obviously supply. The SatNav is the much desired Connect Premium (touch-screen) version. I'm the second owner, I bought it with 1,700 on the clock from a main dealer, now has a poultry 4,800 on the clock so bearly run in. The Stillen (cost me £1,250) has been on for about 2,000 miles / 4 months. Nothing much else to say apart from it's immaculate, recently serviced, has about 10 months tax remaining, obviously still covered by warranty. Reason for selling, mmm, not sure really, just trying to trim costs a little for a short while (life is getting very expensive at my house ). Price, not sure really, just had a look on the Nissan website and they have similar examples ranging from £24k (for older/leggy examples) to £30k (for similar to mine but grossly over-priced). I'd happy accept a reasonable offer. My private plate is still on so there would be a couple of weeks delay in taking that off. Just shout if you have any questions.
  15. Well, at least when you look out of your window and notice the Zed isn't there, something else is that will bring a smile to your face . argh, my avatar has vanished .
  16. Won't stay that shiny for long
  17. I think we must be Brothers or something - you're words perfectly sum up by anxiety before taking the plunge and happiness once I'd done it . My tips aren't that shiny anymore . Your 'new' car looks the nutz - I love the anniversary edition.
  18. I sometimes take my 4 year old out in my the Zed (she prefers it to the X3 ) and put her Recaro Start car-seat in but it's a bit too wide at the base so leaves a whacking indentation in the seat for a couple of days later; soon goes back to normal but I'm afraid it'll damage it one of these days. It's one of these http://www.baby-pages.co.uk/detail.jsp? ... rc=froogle Now, presuming your little ones also are transported in the Zed, which seat do you find fits the best??? I'm quite happy with a 'booster' style seat if I'm honest (don't want to spend another £200 on an occassional seat) but obviously has to be a good one protection-wise. Your input appreciated.
  19. Missed your update Bubba; thanks for this. Am really tempted by this mod but might as well wait until we start seeing some sunshine again next year. Massive expense at the minute with a 3 week old baby at home & decorating, etc, plus just negotiated a Breitling for the missus for Crimbo too (right after announcing no presents this year ) - aren't I nice . Funds are stretched to say the least .
  20. No worries . Shame I'm not on commission . I'll look into getting the vids up asap with the software recommended above.
  21. I know what you're saying and I'm usually remarkably laid back about this but have got more wary recently for no apparent reason. Basically, I drive a rare car, have an even more recognisable reg plate, so more fool the numpty who chooses to clone it!!!
  22. Don't suppose it'll let you blur a reg plate too??
  23. Sipar, if you end up going for the Stillen, then I'm confident you'll not be disappointed. I went through the same head-f*ck as you a few months back and ended up with getting a Stillen fitted (courtesy of Tarmac ). Now I've lived with it for a few months I've no plans to add anything else (uprev, HFCs, etc) as I think the sounds is perfect and the extra power on tap is just enough. Like you, I didn't desire any more power, and pretty much forgot about the gain. I didn't think the extra claimed 18bhp would be that noticable anyway. Well, I'm thrilled by the difference, completely taken by surprise. It's not just the extra 'speed' that you notice, it's more the way the engine behaves - difficult to describe, just feels 'free-er' and revs very nicely indeed. I'm struggling to notice any sound difference whatsoever between my Stillen and the Invidia one Chris posted on page 2. I took videos of mine but shot them in full 1080p so each clip is massive - can't find anyway to post them unfortunately. Caveat - I did panic massively when I heard it first (had never heard on in the flesh until mine was fitted) and thought I'd have to remove it, but, give it time, you soon get used to the extra voice and will grow to love it. Like you, I was massively nervous about it being too loud or chavvy, was surprised at first but now love it.
  24. I might call them for some Friday fun pretending to be a cash buyer claiming the price is very reasonable - see what reaction I get .
