  1. why on earth would he accept almost £2k less than what he is asking? If it is clean and doesn't immediatley need tyres, brake work or a major service I would go in at £13450 but as I am not in a position to do so its neither here nor there really
  2. Nope - if the car was manufactured with headlight washers they need to be in working order - so if your MOT tester spots the headlight washer button and is feeling pernickety it will fail!
  3. Last time I saw it posted on here story was that it was abandoned in UAE - it was a story about the amount of folk just upping and leaving when they went bust...
  4. Usually it is just the cold that causes this - just hope and pray you don't need new motor and jet they cost a packet!
  5. Is she an English bulldog? She's a cutie!

  7. Ohh - look Chrome - can quote In all fairness Al that is a bit of a 'computer says no' response to an issue that members are having. I know the forum is free and admin give their time for free but I would bet anyone using a new-ish PC who is not particularly tech minded will be using a new version of IE I do think it needs addressed sooner rather than later The staff are looking into it. But we can't exactly tell the software providers how to do their job. We have to wait for their fixes after we report issues. Fair play - see I am not tech savvy enough to know the processes involved

  14. I never had any issues with the zed in the snow - drove her throughout the winter of 2010 in -10c and feet of snow. (I can' find my Diary of a Fife Zed thread to show you the photos) I only ever switched the TC off to get out of snow. Drive with a sympathetic throttle and decent matching tyres at the correct PSI and you will not have any issues.
  15. Regardless of having a 'friendly' tester. HFCs, if they're hot should not fail emissions. Go for a decent run and then drop it at the workshop with instruction to test immediately.
  16. Do we have any Belfast members who fancy a wee jaunt out to play in a JUKE?
