Excellent cheers guys Havent seen the bumper so wasnt sure how it was attached , did something similar to my mini bumper - just found a nice mesh and cut it to fit. Its an ebay bumper and Im not sure if Im going to go with it or not but good to know for future reference

No I know but you seem to know what you are doing I need to spend some time on my car to get rid of the swirls from the previous owner, just wish I could have brought it out here a panel at a time cause Ive had nothing to do since I got here Need to look at a machine polisher I reckon

Page 16 of this says 999M1-ZPEUR but the box in the original ebay ad that started all this says 999M1-ZP003 as per this site.

ah that would explain it then thanks for clearing that up Car is a 2003 so yes it will be the earlier reflectors , stupid me for not noticing the size difference. Can you do a straight swap for a >2006 bumper onto a 2003 car - just a thought

That looks so good Cant wait to get mine now. Looking at your before pics in the other thread though I think the reflectors on my Z must be some sort of smoked effect ones, were like that when I got the car but I notice they are not as orange as your original ones, mmm will have to see if they have any part numbers on when I remove them (or if they have been sprayed with some chav paint)

Well this thread has given me the kick up the ar*e I needed to get my 1971 1776cc beetle out of the garage and get it mot'd , will be the first thing I do when I get back on shore. Someone got the makings of a great project there , good luck with it

Honestly the guide is pretty much spot on, just take your time and you will be fine Could even get a body shop to do it for you - would only take them an hour or so
