Does anyone have a source for these(new ones) or are they a specific "Nissan only" part? Apparantly according to my local stealers they are on back order and I wont have one until end of July

Hi I had the same, spoke to the op and yes he got sorted. Mine was the same and it turns out that the Banana shaped bar is the culprit(rear front drag link). I think its a pricy wee bugger I had the same problem--got it sorted now the drivers side is making the same noise

Is there such a thing as a 2003 UK spec.. I was told by dealer they were not available until 04 --Were brembos not also part of the GT spec

Hi Alex Im new here also but the fairlady is basically an import--square numberplate to rear--Not many other differences other than your insurance may be more expensive and that usually the import will have an autobox and was available from 03. I believe the uk spec 350z was not available until 04 For your money you should be able to get an 04 uk spec no problem possibly even a gt 04 they way prices have been dropping lately I am sure some of the vetrans will be along to advise you better I bought my 04 recently for less than 11k from a Nissan dealership

yes Hopefully some members will have some bits lying about. I know from my old car i still come across bits in the garage. The exhaust is the only item i'm not sure about--I would like to start at the Y pipes and replace bits as money allows and i am not sure of the compatibility of the stock exhaust with aftermarket

Having just bought my Z am heading down that slippy slope of mods. If any members have any of the following mods they have maybe removed give me a shout by pm 1. jwt popcharger c/w heatguard--Bought envy performance 2. 20mm wheel spacersbought Squarehead 3. locking wheel nuts--some bugger removed mine before salebought from breay 4. plenum spacer 5. exhaust-- open to suggestions

I have the ebc brake discs fitted, grooved and dimpled along with yellowstuff pads there are a couple of issues--More brake pressure needed when cold When cold they squeel a lot

Thanks guys for your welcome and your speedy responses I think i have the problem sorted myself--Wear(really minimum) in the bottom balljoint in the banana shaped link bar-nearly impossible to detect but can cause one hell of a rattle.

thanks guys Exactly the same issues slow over gravel and you think the suspension is going to disintegrate its so rattley took the car to am independant and he cannot find anything obvious either--clunk isnt the right description -more like a quick knocking even when steering isnt even touched--I initially thought top suspension mounts but nissan appear to have removed and refitted the brace so i assume that was to gain acess to the mounts to check

Hi i picked up mey new 04 Z last night from a Nissan dealer(black gt, tan leather). Brilliant driving car although I have one major problem When test driving i noticed a rattle from the suspension at the front. Dealer said they would sort. On picking the car up the rattle was still there so i reported it. Apparently they have checked botton suspension, anti roll bar bushes, track rod ends generally everything they can and cannot find anything wrong yet the rattle is still there. To describe is difficult--not a heavy clunk just a continuous medium rattle which travels through the inside and is especially pronounced when going slowly over a gravel surface. The normal culprits(ball joints,bushings etc appear all tight) anyone got any ideas im at this stage Otherwise a brilliant car

just a try --A while back i powerwashed the engine bay of my merc and unknown to me the fusebox wasnt sealed right-water got in and displayed the same wierd happenings--lights on etc. Took the fuses and relays out and stood with a hairdryer --Everything was ok after--there could be a grommett looses in your bulkhead letting water track down into your fusebox Was there any sign of moisture in your fuse box
