  1. brakes but your going to need some big rims to fit them under. nothing to flashy keep a stealthy look , maye try and grab some 19's off a 370 or if the brakes fit just some rays ?
  2. either way the buy now price seems pretty fair for a nismo.
  3. just the head unit , easy. no funky tools just a little fidley the first time you unclick all the junk. gettng the rest out not so or at least i cant seem to get at the so called amp in the boot.
  4. oh dear , well you may have some room left for packet of crisps or drink in the Z id say sell the big amp and l7 is your best bet , get a smaller mono amp matched to the sub wont cost that much. i looked up those shallow rockford subs, nice kit wish i had seen them before i went for my 8 as all the other shallow mounts out there dont take the power , infact that sub would match my alpine amp spot on. either way good luck it should give a good install .
  5. well theres lots of otions out there , wheel well ,between strut and seats would be my choice for a large sub. have you tought about facing back inot the boot and not upwards ? that would be hidden and the box would be flat and look like a shelf or cover as would the zenclosure style. in th ebose space if you glassed right out to the edges that area youd have quite some volume but i dont know how much your l7 uses ?
  6. ok that amp is a monster ! but having said that you could get both the sub and the amp in between the strut bar and the rear seats , leaving you the space behind the driver for a second smaller amp to drive your comps. youd just have to make another box for the sub to go in that way you re use most everything. with getting audio in wher theres a will theres quite often away just a case of how hard to make that way is .
  7. also guilty of the let them try and overtake then floor it , tends to happen to tailgaiting **** in wussy cars.
  8. nice , where did youget the rears from ?
  9. what amp cant you fit ? my amps hidden under the glovebox and theres oodles of space behind the drivers side too. if you dont have the bose its a MUCH EASYER upgrade path. decent HU new front speakers (run them off HU and will sound better than the bose ) monoblock amp small ish sub in bose spot , as you dont have the bose you dont have the silly metal plate there to take out you can just stick the box in. orrrr make a custom box for the boot somewhere , either way there lots of room for amps under the glove box trust me youl get a faily big mutli chan in there maybe 2 small amps.
  10. once funds allow im getting the carbon ones to go wiht my v1 front but they are kinda hard to come by .
  11. veilside v1 underwings by the looks.
  12. nope actual carbon panle , although im not sure the inside part is. not sure about needed door bars carbons not exactly weak stuff but it can be penatrated wher metal might just dent or most likley just plain break but that all depends on alot on how thick/well made it is . as for price ......http://www.epracing.co.uk/Carbon-Access ... 2-123-2234
  13. i think the AEm unit is quite out of the way and tucked in behind the bumper (someone must have one to confirm) and re the dreaded water issue get a bypass valve !
  14. +1 on the volts , ive only ever used my Z with 4v and now 5v pre outs but alot of models wil lonly have 2.5v so will be quieter. that pioneer looks lieka darn good piece of kit for the money too , you might get away wiht the mic placed on th HU as used to have mine just under the steering colum so you may be OK but its not the uglyest thing to have a small wire run a few inches accross the dash to the main cluster.
  15. it can already , if you have a BT headunit then select Bt audio as your source and if the iphone is paird it will switch to ipod mode and play !
  16. bargin , that got to be the cheapest full exhaust out there , clips on the site sound good too
  17. youd have heart attakc if it sprunf an oil leak in th engine bay !
  18. guess it dpends on how good the bundle box postage is. im sure stuff liek and exhaust or other meaty metal stuff would survive quite well no matter what.
  19. 1 distance to empty (fuel tank) 2. Fairly is it ? mines miles out filled up yesterdy said i had 60 to go and only got 55 litres in so had 20 to spare or over 90 miles (geting 23 ish mpg). even when my fuel light come son i never get more than 60 litres in , my fuel gauge is always reading low!
  20. very nice indeed , they will look fantastic wiht that big dish
  21. tbh i dont see it being of a real issue , people been decating for years and thats easy to spot etc. one thing i did notice was somewher suggested metal substrates wouldnt get approved only ceramics.
  22. hmmmm http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2009/uksi_20091899_en_1 found that ,doesnt metion any technical regs (but that could be else where) , seems ot suggest that they must be approved and dont have to be OE. if tey are saying OE then all car manufactureers have every driver over a barrel and would start charging really silly prices for cats and make them all fail quickly . but that sjust my 2 pence worth. update little digging about on this seems ot suggest they WONT be checking peoples cars but the places selling and installing the systems.
  23. +1 not like the MOT tester is going to go say "ok sir your passed the mot fine but when i got it on the rmaps and cleaned up your cats we could see you had berks on there" nor is any roadside stoppage going to emissions check you , have the car pass then check the right make of cats. can you the copper getting down on the ground crawling about by the road under a Z ?
  24. that doesnt lok right to me . 29020 correct ,20645 is as you stated for none bose but i cant seem to find the 20273 on the site. if you are worried about volume issues then you need a line driver.
