    New Exhaust tips

looking good , are they just a single thinn piece of metal or the double walled liekthe greddy you posted ?
  3. Uk or jdm ? All uk with Bose have them not sure about jdm
  4. Youl also want a steering wheel adaptor then your all set , wouldn't worry about the volume if you gave good pre outs . How often dobyoy have the Bose at 100 % so just turn the alpine closer to max .
  5. +1 fitted pics as im kinda tempted at that price , i take it the paint would sand off OK ?
  6. How are you connecting the iPhone ? I'm assuming you have just created an RCA input for the Bose and then connected the iPhone to this with iPhone audio out cable to the dock on the iPhone . If that's the case you either have an old RCA out cable ( sounds like that's the prob ) as apple changed the wiring but made the cables work and the iPhone detects it's an old cable and shuts the audio off ! You can checkbthis if you have an older iPod about . Easyesr fix is just use the headphone out instead as the cable is alot cheaper since it's just generic RCA to headphone.

    Berk HFCs= ;)))

does it ! my fujitsubo is bascially the nismo with different pipes and i didnt think it was that loud . funny thing is when i got the midpipe/back box fitted it was hardly louder , Y pipe made it little bit louder and bit more tuned sounding and now the berks just growl . kinda makes me want some tubular manifolds ! edit.. tez , depnmds on how loud youare not he buddy club is prtty loud but th eonly car i have heard already had cats etc (adrian K i think has/had buddy club + cats/decats) sounded nice but bit too loud. seems no one part has been a huge noise adder but add them all up and its just grins and more grins when i boot it and ive not even had it to 6k yet , not sur eif its in my head but im sure 2nd/3rd revs up freer to!

    Berk HFCs= ;)))

Just got my berks fitted and I knew they would make it z bit louder but now the car just sounds awsome ! Anyone thinking they want a louder exhaust For a more racey sound just get some HFCs ! Bit late to be revving the car in the drive for a bid now so il get one tommorrow .
  9. 15k in km aint that hard im doing 70miles a day now so thats over 100km , not hard.
  10. id go for some vartoens if the importing didnt bork the price.
  11. lol im in there tomorrow getting my hfcs fitted !
  12. 2 is probably rawbhp , black multsipole 19's and scorpion zorst ? dont know the others.
  13. Aha fixed it ! No idea how but the noise was caused by / coming from my catch can ! Removed one of the connections and put the near side cable cover back to stick venting and no more squealing .
  14. its what i tihnk about everytime i do a mod ! most youl get is 300 give or take vs 309 stock , greekman will correct me here if im wrong but i think hes running about 340 with with basic mods.
  15. If its done as mine was then theres no need to cap anything off yep , setup like this its all fine . what i had done was split the valve cover conector wiht a y piece and connect up the other valve liek the the arc can does but instead of taking the breather from the intake tube i used the plenum as in the cusco , seems this is wont work so all take note dont bother trying it !
  16. id have one on the right hand side that went to the intake pipe , this is the one that caused the problem. as of now its hooked up just as per yours ....viewtopic.php?f=35&t=35792
  17. Hmm that cap looks like where the original pipe came from the cam cover to the right angle on plenum . Il go on my pc and post pics clarkie is that pic pre catch can ? this really shoiuldnt be this hard im sure !
  18. Hmm the only cap i see is on the plenum and that needs to stay there as it's blocking some unused hole. It's just to the right of the top left cover bolt .
  19. i figured it might be somthing to do wiht this , going to have a look for this cap in a minute. its now hooked up like I an had his cusco viewtopic.php?f=35&t=35792 the idling problem (didnt stall just lumpy as fork! and it squeeled whihc is now gone) occured when i hooked up the other side aswell .
  20. A few weeks back i decided it would a good idea to get an oil catch can to ensure i wasnt getting oil sucked through from the cam covers and it looks cool install was easy enough between the left bank and plenum , all went well. tubes got a little oily so i fgured great ive caught some oil from going plenumwards so i then orderd up some more hose and plumbed in the other bank and blocked off the intake pipes connection. howver this seem to have caused both a lumpy idle and a squeeling noise once car warms up ! its definatly the cause of the lumpy idle and im pretty sure the squeeling (will confirm this later after a test drive as its just been idling on my drive so far). anyone shed some light on this ? my first suspect would be vacuum leakage on the second connection although im pretty sure i clammed the hose on good and tight. second guess is somthing to do with the way i connected it between cam covers and plenum as the ARC cans that run to both sides use the intake pipe for vacuum.
  21. looks good , mines a simalar afair wiht the plate not mouting taped in place and the orignal bolts moved to the holes that used to hold the bracket. not gone but looks much better than the big hump it has stock.
  22. well the belts were done about 3k ago at service , noise just started/noticed the other day. im hopeing it is belts as thats a free fix.
  23. hmm could be , il be going back to the garage tog et my cats fitted v soon so il see what they say.
  24. couple of days ago i seem to have picked up a squeeling from the engie bay , its only there when warm or at least not when you first start but the time i get to work its there. belts are all new and eiter it doesnt vary with engine speed or i just cant hear it as by the time the geine is revved slightly even standing by the engine bonet up i cant hear it. any ideas ?
