+1 Probably because they are too lazy to actually do any of it ...

From looking at the service history for my Zed, the previous owner had the clutch and release bearing changed about 20,000 miles ago ... so it must just be another feature of the Zed.

My ex-girlfriend studied Marketing at University and since finishing has been working for different Car Insurance companies managing their Internet Campaigns ... It's not the most exciting job in the world according to her, but it's quite good for opportunites etc as a lot of companies now spend a large portition of their Marketing budget on Internet sales etc .. Maybe something to consider ...

I'm a little paranoid about leaving my Zed at home too while away ... My brother and parents are only arounf the corner (literally) but it's still not the same ...

Mine is exactly the same .. I think it's the clutch release bearing ... but nothing to worry about unless your clutch is slippiing ... Just turn the music up so you cant hear it .. LoL

I've had a set of these fitted a few months ago and they are so much better than the RE040's .. You won't be disappointed with them ...

I'm not 100% but wouldn't a clay bar help remove the tar from the paintwork?
