I ended up going through insurance when some guy scraped the drivers side of my Zed ... He said he'd rather have it repaired privately so I got some quotes ... after a lot of messing around it was obvious that he just didnt want to pay for the work so rang my insurance company and got them to sort it ..

That's Brilliant .. I've had a few occassions where a Porsche has been driving past with the driver looking at the Zed ... My Boss has a Porsche too, and is always going on about having a race etc ... LoL

Very informative post ... I've been considering the UPRev reflash for some time now but always thought that some engine modifcations were necessary in order to see any gains ...

I've currently got the Yellowstuff pads and Ultimax disc combo on my Zed and have been very pleased with the stopping power compared to the standard setup ... Got mine supplied and fitted by CS and I'm Very happy with them! Oh and the Ultimax discs look so much nicer than normal discs too!

It's well worth the time and effort .. I clayed my Zed for the first time last weekend and the results were amazing ... My Zed is still looking clean even though it's been raining for the past 2 days .. the water just comes straight off once I start driving ...

No worries mate ... It's worth finding out for yourself though as I could have just been speaking to an idiot ... LoL I think the Zeds with the later Sat Nav models, like the post 2006 ones are upgradable to the current maps .. but at an extortionate cost ...

I've got the Birdview system in my 2004 Zed and have previously enquired about updating it from Nissan .. Depending on which unit you have, there are only a limited amount of update options ... For my older Xanavi unit (remote controlled) .. Nissan quoted me somewhere in the region of £300 for the update DVD ... and even then the maps were only the 2006 versions ... The whole unit would need changing if I wanted current maps ... It's been mentioned many times before but I think it's by far the best option to go for one of Nurrish's systems .. Might be worth calling Nissan to see what they say though ...
