  1. I did end up buying Infinte warfare legacy (for a reasonable price) and I've played modern warfare remastered more. IW feels very cartoon like to me whereas MW still has that gritty feel. Not got to a point of playing MP on either yet and I keep going back to BF1 for that.
  2. GTA hiest missions maybe worth a look but only if you already have the game.... I don't have many friends to set them up and don't like the thought of performing them with randoms Not sure it will have longevity that you are probably after either. Edited due to typos....
  3. @GM I work with a lady who's husband once bought her BF4 for her birthday and she doesn't play games...... He told her it was the gift of time
  4. LeChuck's revenge?!? I'll get downloading, loved the Monkey Island games on the Amiga, remember the code wheel anti piracy device?
  5. Maybe you could get your staff these for their 'bonus' and insist on it being the new uniform then if they are up to no good their 'uniform' will give it away
  6. What's the sausages...sorry OP's position on man bags?
  7. Re skinny jeans. I once tried on a pair by mistake...... I'd been summoned to London last minute on a business trip and packed an overnight bag with the usual stuff and also some casual clothes for the evening..... Meetings in the day went well and decided to dash back to the hotel to get changed before having a few beers with old colleagues..... trouble was I'd picked up the OH's jeans..... they didn't even make it to my knees I'm almost a foot taller and double her weight, I have no idea how I made that mistake. Pints and food were carefully consumed that evening as I had to go out in a suit. Anyway after once going to Fuertaventura for a bit of winter sun and seeing a group of middle aged German naturalists I'd say I don't mind what someone wears as long as they're wearing it
  8. To be fair I always up the difficulty on most games out of the box now. They all seem far too easy to be able to complete compared to the games when I was growing up in the late 70's/early 80's. I've put this down to a mix of the modern kids attention span and the ability to make more money from DLC/Expanssion packs. It's defiantly not because I'm so awesome at games now because I feel I'm below average when playing MP games. I did find TLOU bucked this trend and I had to lower the difficulty as well as finding it frustrating at times..... I still went back for more though. On a side note, I stumbled on a trailer of 'days gone' the other day and it did interest me.
  9. I think you're right I think I need to see a doctor as I'm agreeing far too much with you
  10. Yeah I saw they were bringing out a follow up, I did play the remastered version as well. I'm close to finishing and need to go back to that one too.
  11. I see Project Cars is one of the games with gold for Feb. Did they ever fix this game? If not I seriously doubt they ever will giving it away free
  12. When I heard about this in the office yesterday we started remembering particular scenes and laughing at the memories so many years later. It had fantastic writers but the cast and Kaye in particular made it what it was. RIP
  13. Saves on washing..... I once suggested to a scruffy colleague he donates his suit to the local charity shop and buy it back a few days later because then at least it would've been dry cleaned and would be cheaper than taking it himself
  14. Don't forget treating his employees to lap dances too
  15. Yay for a change I gave good advice
  16. @coldel that's been my attitude with regards to bonuses, I don't expect them and I certainly don't count on them. @stew I also work for a large American company and it's the first I've heard they don't do 'bonuses' and in fact I remember the first year I had a direct American manager he took a look at my salary and compensation package told me it wasn't good enough so gave me a fantastic bonus (~25% at the time) which I put towards my zed. I'm only mentioning it because from my experience bonuses are the done thing. I think your US manager is pocketing your bonus.
  17. I really should do that at some point, he's very local to me and has some mutual friends including my better half
  18. Ekona has it, I was just about to suggest a nice meal for them and their partner at somewhere nice but not pretentious.... obviously if they like pretentious that's fine but me I'd prefer good food over flashy table cloths.
  19. Chippendale night out then... I'm sure they won't mind watching you with them! One thing I should have mentioned is there is one thing that' peeves me off something rotten is someone getting rewarded for doing their job. Recently I saw a group of people get recognised for fixing an audit issue they were fully aware of but didn't flag it as an issue. That tonne is disciplinary but these guys get kudos coming out of their ears.
  20. Lap dances? Sorry flex i have a feeling that's the sort of thing you would post to someone else's thread On a serious not I like being acknowledged for doing a good job, cash is always good or time off but sometimes a verbal recognition goes a long way. Well done by the way for thinking of them
  21. I've often said if I could have a beer with any royal it would have to be princes Phillip and Harry as I think they'd be a right laugh. I also think Stephen Fry would be interesting but probably too intellectual for me and for totty Holly Willabooby and Carrie Ann moss but as she was in the matrix not now..... goodness knows what time has done
  22. Yeah I sort of rambled. I regret not investing in an omega I could've bought at a very good price due to exchange rates. The Rado you've bought looks good too and I bet you can't wait. Also that Tudor which was Oates earlier is also quite nice. Edit: also just spotted the typos, not sure there's much call for chronic watches
  23. I like that Tudor. I'm kicking myself as I went to NYC in 2007, looked at Omega sea master/speedmastera d could have bought the sea master chronic full size for around £2k with local taxes. I couldn't afford it at the time but I really regret not just banging it on the credit card. If I was back there with my knowledge now I'd have bought but that said I actually now prefer the speedmasters.
