  1. Covered about 15000 miles. Fits both 350z 313HR and 370Z . Take minutes to fit. Product blurb link below. http://www.hks-power...lter/index.html These work really will with Mishimoto intake hoses I am selling. On separate thread. £40 including delivery. £30 collection from Berkshire area.
  2. Very little use. They were actually bought for my old 313HR. Never fitted them to the 370z. Mint condition. See link below for full product info. http://www.mishimoto...e-hose-kit.html £65 including delivery. Collection from Berkshire area. Collection price £55.
  3. Bumpy Bump. Anyone before I put it on Flee bay at the weekend?
  4. Well if that's the abuse zed drivers get I imagine it's worst in a Ferrari or Lambo...
  5. Had two crackers this weekend. Car was clean and roof down. Both totally unprovoked whilst pulled up at lights. Most of the time the car gets complemented, but this weekend was different.... First: White van drive "Thanks Dad". My response "I work very hard for my toys" Laughed and burnt off. Second: Another van drive "Charlie Uniform November Tango". Not said like that, but too rude to write normally. My response. "Your mum has a big one from memory" and left them in the wake of V6 rumble, whilst the van driver was left of thinking of a come back. Had the misses not be sat next to me on the second one I probably would have got out the car to have proper words with the delightful chap. Anyone else had any comedy crackers?
  6. 1 x 370z OE Bridgestone 275/35/R19 used. Approx 4000 miles. See images for tread guide relative to markers! No plugs or repairs like some of the items on Ebay! Basically one of the old tires was binned and I replaced them as a pair to maintain balance. Kept this as a spare should one get punctured beyond repair. I now have MPSS fitted all round so of no good to me if the worst happens. Collection from Windsor / Berkshire area. £80
  7. I bought my vts new back in 1998 was a great little car. Couldnt afford the extra for the pug. mate had one at same time, the pug was a better handler. linakage arm may need adjustment they bend if man handled. i ended up fitting a beefed up item and short shift kit to take up play.
  8. The front cam cover gasket on my old vts failed and caused oil to weep onto the manifold cover, this then dripped onto the exhaust maifiold resulting in a smoky drive for about 40 miles. Hows the gearbox holding out, I went through 3 box's on mine and it was only running 50bhp over standard? it did a lot of track days and other than this weak spot was very reliable.
  9. When you do get round to sorting aerial have nose at this first. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76154-roadster-2013-aerial-at-last/ looking loads better with the new wheels!
  10. Those seats look fab, The front end looks a bit much for me, personally prefer old nismo 370z shape. Looks like its trying a bit too hard and probably wont have the fire power under the hood to match the aggressive looks.
  11. Check its been fitted on the drivers side! My one in the roadster was aimed at the passenger! Works fine up-to about 40mph roof down and unto about 80mph with roof up. Most of the time I find myself leaning forward and shouting at it most of the time. On the whole its crap due to ambient road noise in the 370z.
  12. +1 on Tyreleader. I ordered F+R MPSS for the 370z. 3 day turnaround from Holland and good order tracking via courier. Glad to be back on my rubber of choice.
  13. Why didn't they wrap the door shuts! School boy. Looks like the owner was going for the Aston Martin look. Defo not to my taste. Each to there own hey.
  14. Still sounds better than the noise produced by twin intaked engined Zed lumps in oe spec. I actually really liked gt86 but was just too over priced imo. I am still not sure how Nissans Development team managed to make such a duff sound vee six at high revs. Sounds rubbish compared to our old M3,s and even the bloody passat!
  15. I am sure I paid £430 all in on a P3 service on my old HR engined Zed from WLMG Shepperton. That included new brake, coolant fluid, oil and replacement filters. Air con gas change and a few other bits and bobs such as wiper blades oh and a beast of a Micra for two days!
  16. After the exhaust the next best mod on my roadster is the roof smart module! No more pulling to drop the top. Allows you to put roof down while moving (slowly) and one touch on the open / close button. Well worth the investing in.
  17. Thanks chaps I will drop Funky Tyres a pm.
  18. Planning on going for 4 x new MPSS as they were great on my old HR compared to RE50A's. Guessing these are still best all round tyres for the Zed? Any where cheaper than Camskill unfitted? I cant believe I have managed to murder a set of rears in under 6k! Bloody shocking, the fronts have lasted well at 15K.I am always mechanically sympathetic to the car in first gear and changing to second, no track days with this Zed either. Yes I did give it a hard time through the alps for a few weeks but my HR had that too the year before, probably harder as that was easier to break traction in than 370z. Could this highlight how much more corner grip the 370z has over my old HR? I certainly feel more confident leaning on the 370z over the HR. Still think HR is better once traction broken, easier to correct and slower when it does go. Still at least it appears that the MPSS have come down a fair chunk in price since my last full set of MSPP. Sure they were more than £1000 unfitted. Think I need to stop turning off the traction control....
  19. We have a LHD car in the family and it's fine just have to remember to have the litter picker in the passenger footwell for UK tolls and pay n displays if alone. Over taking is a bit more of a pain on thin lanes but not really a issue with 300+ bhp. Just need to leave a bigger gap and take more care. Oh and passengers always try to get in drivers side.
  20. Yeap that would have been me. Your Zed looked far too clean. Real nice colour that blue. My 370z is a black rose, not to be mistaken with a black one:) Just in bad need of valet from the b road hacks.
  21. Looking very nice, If I didn't have a 370z vert, this would be my coupe colour combo.
  22. Have you checked the tire pressures, the RE50A's are sensitive to over or under inflation. I remember once the dealer over filled mine and it made the car spin the wheels with ease in first three gears. Also get the rear alignment checked, you could be running too much camber, may need dialling out to increase tire contact with road. I had this on one of my older Zeds, but had to fit special arms to correct it, I am unsure if the 370z has this type of adjustment as standard. +1 on MPSS best tire for Zeds. Its quite a different drive to the S2K hey, still love driving my mates, best gear change and race to the redline ever!
  23. It wasn't much, £110. The outdoor one should defo fit as it isn't stretchy like the indoor one. You may need to remove the aerial. This doesn't bother me as I only use the car at weekends. The outdoor ones are overpriced from Nissan in my opinion, I would look else where, sure mike89 had a storm force out door cover up for sale.
  24. Thanks Will I think you have answered my worries, watched the video and one I found online. Some guy did a ten minute review with db comparison same setup and that was a bit much even in the coupe. Be far louder in the roadster. I will just skip to the uprev. Like you say we have the feature of been able to drop the roof for more volume and it's pretty raucous with the top down.
  25. I live in Berks, so that would be a bit of a drive, thanks for the offer nevertheless... You say they are loud which worries me as I am a few years older than you and defo past the max power/fast car phase of my life 10 + years ago. Still they are cheap, its the fitting which is a ball ache, might look to get them fitted by who ever I decide to do the uprev on the roadster. I shall have a ponder on this. Honestly do you think they are OTT? I don't want to look like a tool when I pull up / away at the lights.
