I guess they do it so you can adjust the exhaust for the perfect fit.

I've put an OEM HR Bonnet on my de zed. I've also got the nismo aero kit same as yours and I think it works well. Excuse my ugly mug. Haha

I've got one of those heat shields which I brought from demon tweeks. As GM said its just a sticker, nothing wrong with it though. The heat shield has a K&N sticker on it, ...doesn't mean K&N made it imo. The whole set up could just be one bought off eBay tbh. It looks similar to the Injen air induction kit so could be a copy. Doesn't mean it's not decent enough to do the job intended though especially if coupled with a decent cone filter.

I got it from my local Nissan dealer but it was about two years ago, just had this one wrapped in my spares box. I should have the part number so will have a look and drop you a PM if I can find it. Ok thanks for that.

What an awesome weekend ! A big thanks to Niki and Mark for doing a fantastic job. It was great to see old friends a make some new ones too. Friends, Great cars, awesome roads , stunning scenery, sun, beer and food the perfect weekend. The only thing different I'm gonna do next time though is book the Monday off, as I'm totally whacked ! Must off been all that polishing. Haha
