  1. ***BREAKING NEWS*** The UK strain of the highly contagious Zeditis virus has crossed the Atlantic and claimed it's first victim
  2. Let the exhaust bed in over the next coue of weeks and hear the sound improve
  3. It's because the "Bose" in our Zeds aren't actually Bose, they are Clarion components with a Bose sticker on them, the only thing that may be Bose is the Bose amp hidden away in the boot. When you remove the "Bose " speakers, you will notice that they are paperpulp coned speakers. Not something I would expect from genuine Bose branded products. My cure to this problem is here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/73153-mould-on-speakers/
  4. But I have to add, those rear spats work best with the ChargeSpeed sideskirts as they compliment each other. (This pic is before lowering, wheel refurb and Invidia Gemini exhaust)
  5. How did you re-lacquer, rattle can?? Yeah, used rattlecans did a thread about it and all http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/72232-cf-bonnet-refresh-no2/
  6. +1 on spats.....look good. Those are Chargespeed BottomLine rear spats. I have the CF versions of them
  7. Relacquer is easy if you have patience and take your time. Redid my bonnet, all you need is 1200 grit, 2000grit, UV resistant lacquer, rubbing compound and lots and lots of patience Using a DA polisher was the start of my woes with CF. Have since learnt that when detailing CF just do it by hand. When working CF with a DA and compound, you don't have the fine feel of your fingers to feel how much you may be taking off. Once you expose CF fibre, it's game over, unless you can find a place nearby that does CF work/repairs with resin.
  8. There was a discussion before where we figured out that US vs EU fuel octane ratings were different. I always look forward to trips to Germany, Shell V-Power Racing 100
  9. Yeah, UK has a mix of metric and imperial. Litres at the pump and miles on the road. 80 litres for a tank sounds about right
  10. Yeah, took me some time to get around to it but totally soaking it up. Watched the first series in one sitting, the second the day after all in one go. Now sat at work on episode 3 of 4 (windy weather makes for decent downtime )
  11. Don't be silly Vik, this is the "Zed spotted" section, not the celebrity stalker section
  12. Spotted a blue Zed with black wheels and non Nismo spoiler. Season 3 Episode 2 @ 51:08
  13. I didn't have to pay extra for the speedy delivery, it is part of Tarmacs excellent service. He quotes prices with shipping and taxes (import duty and VAT) included, so there are no hidden charges. There was a point in time where he was shooting for sole distributor status for Invidia, but I believe he stopped pursuing that and settled for major distributor instead. And yes, the whole exhaust, including tips and fitting kit is contained in one box and everything is wrapped individually in plastic and bubblewrap. In the UK we still use the imperial measuring system (imperial....British Empire and all that jazz), whereas the rest of Europe uses metric. I too find metric easier to use as I was raised in Germany, so I wouldn't be able to tell you my height in ft & inches, but can say i am 174cm tall, lol
  14. For new parts go to Clarke Motorsport, Zmanalex has been collaborating with them to take over his new parts section while Zmanalex will continue to supply second hand parts
  15. Ah, better change mine soon then
  16. Thanks to Tarmac, I got my exhaust delivered straight from the Invidia Factory in the US to my doorstep within 48 hours, was well impressed. As for reference, the floor tiles are roughly 1ft x 1ft
  17. Box is this size... Contents packed like this... I managed to put the Invidia box into the Zed no problem, and the original fits no problem too (Back box into trunk, mid pipe and y-pipe on passenger)
  18. Nope, Invidia labels the exhaust for LHD cars only as they are US made
  19. Do what every Zeditis sufferer does and say below in regards to all future mods "That? Oh that was £50."
  20. Just a heads up for ya, all the exhaust sections are labelled so you have no problems figuring out where they go. Just remember that the right hand side (looking from the rear) connector pipe goes OVER the swaybar. Here's a picture of it on mine
  21. Go for butterfly doors
  22. That tube is there for a very important reason It makes you come on here to ask about it, but since it is blanked of and goes nowhere, i believe does'nt do anything other than make the owner wonder. Perhaps it's an insider joke by Nissan, so when customers come asking about it, they can say it's the flux capacitor that needs changing
