  1. The running costs are going to be the least of your problems once you contract Zeditis In 2009 I paid £10K for my Zed and have since spent nearly the same on mods (not added it all up yet, too scared)
  2. Tip options are: Stainless Steel rolled Stainless Steel slash cut Titanium blued & rolled Titanium slash cut Mine has the last option
  3. For those that don't know already, djtimo has a channel on YouTube, TCMedia, with some lovely automotive videos....and skiing
  4. Speedhunters tutorial http://www.speedhunters.com/2013/08/now-thats-the-tire-bomb/
  5. I was also wondering...if you use a stencil, anybody thought of trying white Plastidip?
  6. Against bugs or other heavy soils, I usually just use Meg's APC (All Purpose Cleaner) while using the mitt during the bucket stage Dilluted into one of these
  7. I think people need to be careful not to be lulled into wannabe foam products. Good snowfoam creates a consistency like shaving foam and should be able to sustain a dwell time measurable in minutes. If the foam goes on and immediately runs off, then personally I'd give it a pass. Just my opinion tho Snow foam going on After a few minutes
  8. Yeah, mines a daily driver. TBH, on my fact finding, I did find out that the Volks are polished to a mirror finish and then very thinly clear anodised at the factory, few microns only. This was confirmed when I had the barrels polished back originally and they said it was tough getting the anodized layer off.
  9. Personally, I think it looks better when you paint with a stencil and cover the whole height if the sidewall rather than filling out the letters. RWB Style
  10. Depending on budget, it might be worth sending a PM to Zmanalex for a set of refurbished Brembos.
  11. As a fellow Volk owner I can appreciate you bringing them back to their former glory. I too have been there with having them polished back to bare metal and using Poorboys Wheel Sealant. Just keep on top of applying the stuff weekly and you should be fine. Just got to be too much work for me in the end, hence I powder coated mine. Love yours Mind you, you said you had the wheels bolts recoated, would it be possible to do that to the barrels also?
  12. Thanks for the kind words BACON. Main thing for me is that I like it
  13. Not a bad outcome then, happy hunting
  14. You could also go to Halfords and get some Ground Loop Isolators, if you need a quick fix
  15. I believe that Hexis is better quality vinyl than what Raccoon have ever used.
  16. Just drive normally, just get prepped for a change when you feel it starting to slip. I don't drive like a nanny, been to the Nürburgring several times, V-Max runs on the autobahn, the usual occasional sprited driving. Just enjoy the car, don't worry too much
  17. Not the same wheel, but similar in mesh style and with correct PCD and offsets http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_Varrstoen_ES5_Wheels/350z-VES5.aspx
  18. You guys do realise that the link goes to a thread from 2007 right?
  19. I'm on original clutch...107K miles
  20. I have: Wrapped roof Wrapped B-pillars Wrapped Centre console Wrapped window controls Wrapped door vents Wrapped rear strut cover CF bonnet CF front lip CF canards CF sideskirts CF rear spats CF slam panel CF strutbrace It's nice to have real CF parts, sure, but when your sideskirts, which have cost you £700, scrape over speedbumps or similar, you cringe no end.
  21. What if you have a mix of fake carbon vinyl and real carbon fibre parts?
