  5. And you'll feel hungry at the start as your body adjusts until it has adjusted, you may also feel less energetic, but it's all for a good cause in the long run.
  6. And with bacon, don't go for the nicely sliced breakfast bacon, you can get like odd cuts at Sainsburys and Tesco as part of their Basics range, works out cheaper
  7. Well, either you take it serious or you don't.
  8. And on the topic of salad... I like a ribeye steak salad Also like chargrilled chicken fillet salad Sometimes have Seabass fillets on salad Hot Tiger prawns on salad is yummy too Or a nice salmon fillet on salad. 11. Well, you bunch of jokers, was just trying to make StevoD think about who the person is that stands to gain anything out of this challenge, win or lose.
  12. To start with I wouldn't get too scientific about it and just make smart food choices to start with. Once you get down to certain bodyfat percentages, that's when you can get scientific. I'm not there yet, but it's a long process for me. If you can ignore the visuals, have a listen to this
  13. Stevo, ask yourself this? Who are YOU losing weight for? Yourself or Grundy? Who is going to feel better after YOU loose weight? Yourself or Grundy?
  14. Once you decide to change, then you need to dedicate yourself. And if that means that for the first few weeks or months that you're gonna be less sociable to get your health in order, then so be it. There is no quick fix and crash diets are dangerous as you can regain lost weight or more once you stop. Like mentioned before, don't see it as a diet, see it as a lifestyle change. This is for life. For example, another member in here, Madmarky, he has lost a substantial amount of weight, but it was a choice he made based on if he wanted to live till 40 or if he wanted to live beyond 40. Another ex-member, D4NXY, he was overweight and made the choice to change his life, couple years after the decision he was part of the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics 2012 and still does charity runs to this day. It's about making a choice that sticks, it ain't easy by no means, especially when you have a lifetime of bad habits eating wise. It's tough but not impossible. Wish you the best of luck with this Steve
  15. While your over there, you might as well keep a lookout on parts you could fit in a big suitcase, like Berk HFCs

  21. I did intermittent fasting for a while and it really does work. Did and 8 and 16, which means my eating window was 8 hours and the remaining 16 hours no food, just fluids (water, coffee or tea) Tend to do carbs early part of window and no carbs in latter part and making sure i had caloric deficit, i.e. take in less calorie than i would burn in a day. Doing the job i do did obviously help too, which is manual labour. yes it can be tough, but the result is worth it. for some inspiration, look up the Hodgetwins channels on youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7FP6UyeIEiqvrvpw8nFRnw
  22. don't worry, if a monkey like me can install it, so can you. you'll only need one main loom from InCarTec and if you have steering wheel controls, a loom for that and that's it. You will have to splice the grounding wire from the aftermarket loom into the OEM loom and possibly the parking brake signal too if you choose a headunit with video display capability. Rest of it is just time and effort to route and connect wires
  23. Working dayshift that finishes at 7pm Don't think I can make Ipswich to Southend in 30mins
