There are many that have had their Rays refurbished on here, some had tehm powdercoaed gunmetal with a polished lip, which I think looks really nice

Hi there from a fellow blade silver owner. It all depends how far you want to go to be honest. AutoGlym (AG) is pretty good stuff and if you don't want more than just a regular clean, then nothing more will be needed. What I and others may suggest is that you use the "Two Bucket Method" for washing, unless you do that already. A few of us, including myself use snowfoam and other wonderous products for cleaning. You could look into using a claybar twice a year, regular polish and waxing, to keep the shine tip top.

Nahhhh, only messin....... I put the Rays back on for the winter. Don't fancy the prospect of me behind a gritting lorry with the Volks on. The Volks were given a nice clean and were tucked away for the winter months.

...but buyer only had cash for the fronts only for now, picking the rears up later in the month. So I'm gonna make the most of it and run them until he picks them up.

They should re-introduce the trolleys where you have to put a quid in to unlock them from the chain that links them all together.

A neighbour near me usually mounts a hidden speaker in the bush near his front door. It's positioned so the speaker is behind whoever is standing infront of the door. So when the kids come knocking on the door, he goes "MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" into a mic at full volume and scares the crap outta the kids. Cruel, but very amusing to watch, lol

Just jack the back end up mate, slide some axel stands under there and whip the out. There one 14mm bolt on the drop link through the stabiliser bar and two 14mm bolts holding the barcket to the car. Mine were well tight and I needed the 1/2 ratchet with a 32mm spanner on the end lol.. It takes an hour max start to finish. Alex Is it possible to lube the droplinks in-situ? Or is removal a must?

Chain Lube sounds a good idea, cos I got some of that in my garage and didn't think of using that on my groaning droplinks.

TBH Husky, the only way that would work with your pic, is if the pic was taken with a mirror and if the Ace Cafe lettering was upside down in real life....
