  1. I have 19"s on mine, offsets that are close to flush with the arches, lowered on Tein springs and there is no rubbing at all, thus not had the arches rolled. Dunno if this is helping or not ...
  2. only if you get wheels that go as far as the arches and if the vehicle is lowered I suppose
  3. Trust you to say that, lol I don't live far from Bluewater but I think I might be wearing a Krispy Kreme if I turn up to a meet now Nah, the only thing you do with Krispy Kreme is eat them
  4. Trust you to say that, lol
  5. The police can't really do anything as Bluewater is private property, not public. They can't really kick you out unless there is a proper reason to. If they was gonna ask me to leave, I was just gonna go in and go to the shops, lol
  6. Showed up early with my bro and members of his club at about 5-ish. Security came round at about 6-ish to tell us to move out, because of what had happened last month. If I remember right, last month the jdmoriginals.com had a meet and they did leave quite a few black circles on the floor. Told them that we was waiting for more members to show up and then we would move on, mind you we didn't tell them how many were coming and when they would all arrive Then not to be beat, the security guy says that the police are on their way to check whether our cars had valid insurance....what an idiot.... Police never showed up tho, well as far as I know anyway
  7. Hopefully with one of those little voice activated mic things like in Batman... There will be a button underneath the wing mirror that pops a solenoid and then hydraulically lifts the door gullwing style
  8. 1974 Toyota Celica GT
  9. Had same issue and deleting cookies was the solution, so two packets of Fox's later I fired up CCleaner, which has cookie deletion option ticked, and Robert is your dads brother
  10. Ah it was you, lol Was wrecking my brains to remember your name, sorry Was thinking, who's got the azure with rotas and those taillights.... haha Good to see you there. Also spotted a clean silver Zed with nismo sides and ings front lip and a blue 370Z.
  11. To be honest, there was a point a couple of years ago when shipping parts from japan became stupidly expensive, which is still reflective in today's prices. My £450 Varis lip is genuine as it was in the country before the price hike.
  12. Good stuff Will, I first heard that there was a Zed with white wheels on one side and black ones on the other. And I said "oh I know who that is"
  13. Saw you in Bluewater this evening, coming to the ground floor from the upper level. I was parked by the GT-R and Supra near the downramp. Saw an azure owner too but my apologies as his name escapes me, but nice to see you too
  14. If I took the bolts out my wheels, the centres would fall out But seriously, get them refurbed properly, cos looking at it even if the lip looks polished, the spokes are still in a grubby state
  15. Yes, but that is more of a PEBKAC or PICNIC error rather than an OS error
  16. Perhaps I should put my K1 back on without bungs, then they will hear me coming and will look around to see where the "danger" is coming from
  17. If you can boil a kettle while booting up, then something is wrong with your PC. From button press to login takes me less than a minute and that's without SSD and running an old Q6600 CPU
  18. Same here, had a PC since 1991 a 386 16 with DOS 4.0 and started building my own in 1997. Love fiddling around with PC's, updating, ripping them apart, building and fixing them for mates. Pete And with PC's you can build something truly individual The two GFX cards have since been replaced by a single watercooled GTX470
  19. The main thing I find as to why people feel that their Windows based PC's slow down is that there is a lack of maintenance. Running simple programs like CCleaner for instance alone can improve overall system performance as it gets rid of a bunch of junk files the PC doesn't need that accumilate over time, these are temporary files for the most parts. Then there's the mal and spyware sweepers and finally the virus scanners. Done regularly and the system shouldn't slow down (you don't even have to action them if you setup automated schedules)
  20. Yes, indeed and that is also why it is a legal requirement to have a first aid kit in your car, if the Polizei stop you and there is no kit, then they will fine you on the spot
  21. I like the fact that in Germany, you are required to take a First Aid test before you even do the theory and then move on to practical lessons. And the fact that you have to do a minimum number of night time driving lessons too
  22. Unfortunately our EU overlords have to cater for the vast multitude of people on the roads for whom sense is not common... Then they should leave their EU parliament building more often and see what the real world looks like. This kind of cotton wooling is what is halting human evolution, it actually promotes human retardation because people are put into a world where they don't have to think about dangers anymore, as it is lawfully eliminated.

    Going wide

There must be wheels with a rediculous deep lip that would fit the bill without the need for spacers. Don't most of the american stance scene boys run wheels like that?
  24. Drive with highbeams on at all time? That should keep you visible. Next thing you know there will be a directive enforcing cars to be painted a dayglow colour with a reflective strip going around the car. Common sense tells me that when I am near a road, there might be cars about, so I better pay attention.
  25. Yes, they mirror polish the lips and seal them afterwards. Main reason for choosing the refurb is due to the kerbing. At the moment they are doing an offer for two piece wheels for £200 for a set of four if they have less than 20 bolts per wheel, powdercoating centres is another £25 per wheel. So a minimum of £300 for a full refurb (this is what I seem to understand from their website anyways). Might have this done in the summer for mine
