Yeah I know what you mean. I'm always a little gutted when you watch a video and the 350z sounds awesome. "Yeah mine'll sound like that!" then in the top corner you read "test pipes". Bugger!

It may be a little loud, but it does sound beautiful. Quite fancy one like this, probably going to go for a Greddy Evo 2.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System? Do we have this?

I heard that the RE040's were slightly pants, didn't bother to look at the actual lettering on the tyre, just saw Bridgestone and alot of tread, presumed RE040. I didn't think the grip was that pants really! Alright when there's some heat in them! Then I looked and I actually have RE050a's all round. Result!

Nice work CS. Unfortunately my tyres are all good (RE050A) but I'm sure summer will sort that out, so I may be in touch! But i'll probably be in contact for some go faster shiny bits soon anyway!

If no-one bidded on it and you got it for £170. I still think that's a bit of a bargain, genuine or not. But you'll see how quality the kit is come fitting time I guess.

It'll be a new experience to have a knob that's too hot to handle! I was thinking to go along with the Top Secret knob (in gold), a new gaiter, in black leather with orange stitching (subtle!) to match the seats. I think this'd look rather swish. I was showing the girls at work pictures of my future knob, they were impressed!

I wanted a Nismo Titanium jobbie and then I happened across this Top Secret one on Newera. http://www.neweraparts.com/Default.aspx ... 3&tabid=54 I'm very tempted, it'd have to be gold of course, but I have a black Zed so I'm unsure how it'll look. Black leather with little orange stitching, perhaps it could work? I have gold calipers... In my head I think it'll look the dogs but sometimes things don't turn out like that. So with opening into a field of innuendo; If anyone has a nice knob made by Top Secret, I'd love to see pics! I think the Top Secret one is the same as the Trust/GReddy/HKS one so pics of those will be appreciated.

I kinda thought the laquer peeling on the standard item was a pretty good excuse to get some Nismo Titanium action. But I'll have a go peeling and polishing my knob (oo er missis) in the meantime. Many thanks!

I quite like that. I don't like the fangs. I like the window bit, it reminds me of the R35. I don't like the no gold Brembo's. I like the interior. Liking the engine, power, sound and 0-60's. Not sure on the lights. It's growing on me though. Perhaps I'll have one in a few years...

Chin up mate. Your dad seems like he's come along way so I have complete faith in him moving forward, he does indeed sound like a fighter. As for the girlfriend thing, felt that, still feeling it, it eases. Stiff upper lip, wade through the @*!# and everything will work out for the best.

Apologies for the slight hi-jack but does anyone know if these will cover the two little holes that the rear Nissan burger reveals? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-Z-CAR-BADG ... 240%3A1318 These have 'locator pins' in them, there's a good chance they may not match up but they can be trimmed off. I just can't really find some replacement Nissan burger badges that I really like. Any chance peoples can show me their badges to give me a good idea? Preferably on a black Zed. Thanks

I may have a slightly tackier crap aerial than most.... S2000 aerial cheaper from eBay?

I had the standard remote control car aerial, bought a little stubby black one off eBay. The kind of one that a kid would buy in anodised blue for his red Saxo. But I guess it would be better than standard for the time being. Well the reception is a bit crappy If I'm honest. But it doesn't look OEM which is slightly annoying. This s2000 stubby? How's the reception on one of those? I'm assuming it kind of mates the circumference of the base so it doesn't look like tacky crap stuck on? Thanks in advance
